Brilliant little phone
Have already got one of these phones and love it so much I bought another as a spare when mine eventually breaks (as phones eventually do). Good size to hold. So easy to use; camera is good and takes lovely photos (used it for my daughter's wedding), sends and receives picture messages (on EE network), stores music to the MP3 player and can be played back without the need for headphone if required. Touch screen works really well and the face can be changed to show favourite icons and a photo. Keys easy to use - about the right size. I did purchase a gel cover for the phone and a screen protector just to try and make it last longer! Original Asha has been in constant use for over 4 years (and dropped a few times!) with no sign of failure in any area, so hopefully this won't be used yet-a-while. Brilliant little phone; can't fault it.

Good Hybrid (button keypad and swipe screen) Phone
Had this phone about three weeks now. Wanted a relatively inexpensive phone with a keypad since I like to text the "old fashioned way" with one hand. For less than £50 this phone provided that but also (a) enabled me to use my old "Orange" SIM with its "Dolphin" rewards (b) is therefore a genuine pay-as-you-go rather than a monthly bundle (which suits me better) (c) has a screen of sufficient size for occasional internet use (d) is very intuitive to use and enabled me to get on with things as soon as I inserted the SIM from my old near death phone (e) has a first rate 5Mp camera that takes very good shots / video ... better I think than the camera (14Mp ?) on my more costly smartphone. I have attached a shot taken last week - compressed for quick upload - as a sample. All in all I am very satisfied with this little gem.

Asha 300
Great phone. Bought this after smashing my contracted Blackberry (didn't take out insurance) and have been more then happy with it. Does exactly what I need from a phone, I have other devices for work or browsing. You can connect to a personal email account and social media like Facebook, but it also gives you the ability to minimise data use for those buying on PAYG. The camera produces some pretty good outdoor pics when lighting is good but you won't get many great indoor shots as there is no flash. The touch screen is resistive, so you can't expect the same response as the high end model phones, but if your not playing games or browsing the internet much, then this will more then suffice.

Phone restricted
Product arrived on time early on the 3rd of February. I purchased the phone as Sim FREE. When I put my SIM card in the phone was restricted so I have returned the product because I couldn't use it. Really disappointed as it was a nice phone.

Not the Nokia company that I used to know
Oh dear. Nokia are not what they used to be. Felt that I had to review this one, given that I asked to return mine. I bought it originally as a backup handset to have for emergencies or for when I'm abroad to use with my foreign country SIM. The touch screen on the Nokia is appalling and often meant I pressed the wrong button, sometimes too hard, but the most disappointing aspect was the SIM card holder and the battery compartment. Very flimsy plastic, with the SIM card falling out of the socket which meant my phone kept losing the network or gave the error message "SIM card registration failed". Giving this a 2* rating, only because the accessories for it are widely available (at least in my house). I mean, who doesn't have a Nokia charger in the house? Kudos to Amazon though for accepting it to be returned without any questions asked. Sorry Nokia, but you are simply not No.1 any more...

Excellent service
My original mobile phone finally gave up the ghost after approximately 7 years. I didn't want anything glamorous or all singing. I just needed a fairly basic mobile phone. I don't really need the internet either as I have a home pc and can't imagine why on earth I would need the internet when away from home. I saw this model advertised on various sites and then looked on Amazon. It wasn't expensive and I felt it would be adequate for my needs. This supplier had good reviews so I decided to go with them. I wasn't disappointed. I was given a delivery date of approximately 7 days after receipt of order. In fact the phone arrived within 48 hours. It's a typical Nokia, simple to use and understand. I would recommend this supplier to anyone.

Third time lucky?
This is the third Nokia 300 purchased. The previous two developed faulty screens rendering the phone unusable. The first lasted six months. The second lasted a good few years. So why buy another, knowing it will almost certainly break as well, and for the same reason? It's because it is a really easy phone to use. I don't like smart phones. I just like to make calls and send texts. It has real buttons! If you want an all singing, all dancing phone, this is not for you. If you want a nice basic phone with a few extra whistles, it is fine. Just bear in mind it will not last forever. That said, it probably lasts longer than many of the well known smart phones.

Long battery life, good call quality, fast for texting and very light.
I ordered this phone in grey from Amazon, after trying several different phones to replace my Sony k800i. I even tried the i phone 4s. I want a phone that has long battery life, is very quick for texting and does not hurt my fingers. If I do not play "Angry birds" and just stick to calls and texts I can get four days usage. That is up to 30 minutes of calls a day and several hundred texts. So a lower usage person may get a week or more standby. I would advise engaging the vocal enhancement, since without it I thought the phone was faulty in a low signal area. With it I am told the call quality is superb on reception. Also bear in mind you need to touch the screen in the middle when scrolling up and down. Again I thought it was faulty after using more expensive touch screens. It is a less expensive screen, I am fine with that, as long as I know how it works. The blue tooth is exceptionally quick to hand shake to my Sony hands free visor speaker and the phone has the same processor as high end Nokia units, just it seems one feature has been disengaged. For me there is also the welcome return of timed profiles. I use this just as a phone and for texts, I use my blackberry bold for email. I am perfectly happy to carry two phones and get long standby from each. I hope this helps you choose a phone that suits your needs.
