Easy to instal and very quite when running. 100% recommend
I have this fitted in my shed connected to a smart plug whch in turn is connect to a smart thermostat so when the shed goes above a set temperature the fan turns on.Fitting was simple with everything I needed supplied with the fan. The louvers open as soon as the fan starts and the fan itself runs very quite. Great value for money and I would recomend this if you need airflow in the shed to prevent mould etc.

Smart looking extractor, worth the expense.
Expensive but very nice extractor fan, really pushes out a lot of air and shockingly quiet when compared to other extractor fans ive purchased recently.Certainly a get what you pay for scenario.Flaps are light weight and lift with ease, look very smart indeed.

HG Power 250mm shutter exhaust fan Review (A bad product)
The quality of the fan itself seems good. However the opening vanes on the front are designed to be held on with plastic fasteners (presumably to make them weatherproof as they are essentially available to the elements and to move smoothly) . A nice idea ,however the design of these fasteners is so flimsy that 5 of the 6 on mine fan had broken off either during transit which seems unlikely or before transit and been sent in that condition anyway, and the vanes were flapping and banging about. I could actually hear them clattering whilst opening the box. Almost impossible to fix them yourself. Also, the fly screen which is included in the box is supposed to fix under the fan so you have to take the fan screws out in order to put the fly screen in place and then rebolt the fan on top of it. Unfortunately there were no holes in the flyscreen to put the bolts through so you have to mark them yourself AND BASH A PIECE OF ROUND METAL (IF YOU HAVE ONE) THROUGH THE SCREEN to make some holes. Basically a good product cheapened and trashed by the finishing off. If I hadn't destroyed the box before I found the problem I would have returned it to Amazon for my money back.

Perfect.
Fast delivery via amazon prime, straight forward to fit, low noise, very good air flow, powerful, value for the money, very effective, built quality is good.I must say this unit is very functional, the speed control make it so much more adjustable depending on your needs.I've had mine now for some time, no faults, Brilliant.

High quality item
High quality item, nicely packaged and quickly despatched. However, too large for the job, my measurement error, so returned. Return process very easy and hassle free. Smaller version (250mm) ordered and quickly received. Perfect for my new workshop.

Good fan..fidley to fit
So a couple of point on install first. There are no screws to connect it to the wall just the holes so you'll need to find these yourself. Also no holes through the mesh so again you have to drill these if you are going to install it as it's optional. You may also need to bend the flap or flap casing to get them to open smoothly and close. Once installed it does it's job well but it is fidley.
