Stinky Scourers
I chose the 'natural' scouring pads because I wanted scourers that were free of plastic. When I opened them they seem to be made from the exact same plastic fibres as any other scourer, only held together with brown adhesive and with some twigs thrown in to make them look more 'natural'. They came vacuum packed with a note which said they would regain their full thickness after being unwrapped; after leaving them for several days they were still wafer thin and didn't get thicker at all. Some of the scourers appeared to contain foreign objects which I couldn't identify and they also had a bad smell. They were far too soft and not effective for cleaning or scouring at all. Even with gentle scouring they started to fall apart immediately. You would struggle to scour one large pot before it disintegrated and they absolutely will not remove any stubborn, burnt on grease. Overall, I don't recommend these scourers and I should point out that they are useless and not returnable so I had to discard them in the bin.
