Q: Is this D or L type malic acid? what is source of malic acid (how was made) thanks

I'm sorry ,I nought it as I've heard its good for gall stones ...but havn't a clue how to use it...?? I was drinking Apple juice 4 the Malic acid content but am on a diet and Apple Cider Vinegar...bad for the teeth...So I bought this !! It says it is Food grade...but also good for home brewing...Well I dont fancy . .popping off ,So I havn't dared to try it...It says its ingredients are :- Malic Acid E296 & states it is an Organic compound.

Q: How much should I use to make the equivalent of 1 litre apple juice?

It won't make apple juice. This is an acid with no apple flavour whatsoever!

Q: How much do you use to make 1ltr to drink?

This isn't for making a drink exactly. It is a flavour enhancer for all kinds of things, confectionery deserts etc. So if you made some home-made lemonade, and it didn't have quite enough 'zing', then you would start by adding a quarter of a teaspoon per litre and go from there.
