Really good book for taking notes / sketching and jotting ideas and any other use.
I was looking for an unruled, good paper quality book for making sketches and note taking, and this book is delightful to use, and I really look it's bland but sophisticated look. A5 size means it is easy to carry in a bag or even by itself. The plain look also opens up possibility of me personalizing / decorating it myself too. The price felt reasonable compared to other brands with similar products, I would recommend this!

Disappointed with Papercoal
One of the pages inside was torn. Also the paper quality was not good. I normally use Moleskin which is very high end. But this was very basic as compared to equivalent brands such as MyPaperclip

A perfect notebook
Great paper quality and perfect size for notesvand journal keeping. Loved the cover material and finish. Slightly expensive but worth the money.

Satisfying
It’s the best in the price range. Better than Amazon Basics, I tried both of them.

Very Good Effort. Kudos.
I'm a journal enthusiast, and have tried quite a variety of journals in this price range. Posting this review after using the journal for around a month. Now to the point:a. Cover does get dirty: I have the grey variant. And the cover has gotten a bit dirty(won't be visible that clearly in the photographs), which has reduced the premium look of the journal. I wish that wouldn't have been the case.b. Paper quality is good. I've tried Pentel Energel pen which is my favourite. It has very high ink flow compared to other pens. And the paper quality is good enough to hold that ink on it. (see: attached photographs)c. Offwhite paper: I have an extremely high preference to off-white(slightly golden yellow) paper compared to pure white paper. So, yeah this journal is a big win for me in that category as well.d. Absolutely no distracting markings: Another big plus is no page numbers, dates, index pages or branding on the inside pages. Actually, this is a feature that is common in premium journals of this price range.e. Reasonably priced in premium price range: Yea this phrasing may seem oxymoronic, but the price charged of premium journals are generally from 450-900. Being priced for 400 is a plus. Why 5 stars? (Actually i'd have given 4.5 stars, but sadly thats not possible on amazon. And the book is way too good to deserve a 4).The above four features(reasonable price, offwhite pages, distraction free pages, non-bleeding paper) are something that rarely come together in a beautifully bound book. Almost all other journals that I've come across have at least one of the four features missing. At least one.But kudos to these guys for getting these just right. Some improvements I'd suggest to the makers:a. Reduce the yellow tinge on the papers.b. The paper has a matt finish, which shouldn't be made completely glossy, although some gloss must be there. Roughness isn't that good to write on all the time.c. Don't increase the price to 600, just because other premium journals are selling in that price range.d. Check out: Leuchtturm1917. I might have spelled that wrong.

Great texture and gray color to match MacBook
Great notebook. I love the gray’s texture and color — goes great with my MacBook Pro in space gray. So why 4 stars? I’d love for them to include a pocket on the inner covers. Bonus points for removing the logo or putting it on the back.
