6-Foot USB TTL serial adapter built with FTDI FT232RL chip for 3.3V logic level serial communication (rx, tx and GND)
It is built with FT232r chip that its royalty-free VCP driver allow for communication as a standard COM port and D2XX ‘direct’ drivers provide DLL application programming interface; a great conversion data cord to meet with your needs of debugging, boot-loading, programming, etc.

The original FTDI FT232 chip is embedded in the USB-A end; 3 way 0.1” header connector with GND (ground), RX and TX at 3V3 logic level.

The I/O pins of the USB to uart wire are configured to operate at 5.0v logic level - Entire USB protocol handled by the electronics in the cable;
UART interface support for 7 or 8 data bits, 1 or 2 stop bits and odd / even / mark / space / no parity;
Data transfer rates from 300 to 3M baud rate at TTL levels;
Internal EEPROM with users writable area; Supply voltage comes from USB bus, no external supply required;
UHCI / OHCI / EHCI host controller compatible
