I want to love this, I do but...
First, I'll say that this rim is overall very well made. Unfortunately for me, I seemed to have gotten a defective one. Inside the rim were a bunch of marks that at first looked cosmetic, but when I ran my fingers across them noticed that they were actually sharp, sharp enough to cut my finger. I had to sand them down before I could lay the tube in because that would have just been counterproductive. Once that was finished I was able to complete the setup. This DOES NOT come with a freewheel, keep that in mind. I had to buy one and the compatibility was perfect. I bought a 16t freewheel. I do like the rim and the concept of having disc brake mounts already in place. Though you do need a disc brake adapter for the actual bike frame. I don't like that it requires a very specific size though, and not one more widely used. This uses a 135mm disc brake, something found more for electric scooters. I will be trying other sizes, but I'm not in a rush to spend money uselessly. I am considering getting a front rim, but the same reason I took a star off is the same reason I'm having trouble pulling the trigger. I don't want another damaged rim that I need to put work into so I can use it.That's ridiculous. If you do happen to get a mint one then I would say you go your money's worth. All in all, worth the money if it's new.

20 inch x 1.85" Heavy Duty Bicycle Rear Wheel Rim review
This rim was just fine for my bike project. No issues putting a tire on it; no problems noted. Heavy-duty spokes and rim.

Seems decent!
This is a pretty decent rim that has a good finish overall, and the bearing seem pretty smooth. We'll see how long they last, but right now they seem ok. It's pretty true from the factory, I did see a tiny "bump" (very slight) where the rim sections are joined together when they build it. It's barely noticeable, and with disk brakes it doesn't matter anyway. It's a decent rim for the money, I think.

It's pricey, but seems worth it
This is a superior quality wheel. The price is up there a bit, and I've never bought such a nice wheel, so I can't say if it's too expensive or not. But if it's as good as it looks and feels, I think it is worth it. I put it on a bicycle trailer, and I get the feeling I won't be replacing it. Good bearings--spins freely and easily. Heavy duty spokes. Good finish that should take a bit of abuse. Axel has good thread and mounted easily.
