I enjoyed these noodles. They were flavorful and I’d buy them again. There was a thickener in the packet that makes the broth so the liquid really stuck to the noodles. My advice is to follow the directions when making them, because I did not find the noodles flavorless. Did it taste like real Birria? No, but to expect it to is silly in my opinion.My son hated them and told me he only finished eating them because he was hungry.You’ll just have to try them for yourself to decide.

By no means am I ramen snob, but it doesn't take a master chef to know when a bowl of noodles has no soul.Maruchan's idea of "birria flavor" is a vaguely chili-beef undertone with a slightly lemony aftertaste. I couldn't tell you any of the ingredients in this based on taste alone, it's an indecipherable approximation of...some kind of flavor.There seems to be a thickener or something in the powder packets to make the soup stick to the noodles, the effect is kinda gross, like you're slurping up oily corn syrup noodles.For over $2 a bowl this stuff is insulting.Forgive me for invoking the specter of the great Shin Black as many before me have done, but you're much better off buying that brand at this price. It's not even a contest, Shin Black is about 10000 times better than this stuff.

Is it delicious? Hell yes.CAN IT POTENTIALLY GIVE YOU DIARRHOEA IF YOU’RE NOT CAREFUL? Also yes — you want to be hydrated before you eat! 😅PSA aside, it’s spicy enough that you can feel it, but it doesn’t overwhelm the flavour.
