CrystalAgeRed Jasper Tumble Stone (20-25mm)

These are very good samples and as usual I brought 2 packs assuming the "Standard Quality" ... cracks, inclusions, bits missing that is the "Normal" these days with many stones and gems purchased via Amazon "Unseen".These stones had only 3 out of the 10 that I wouldn't use or give to anyone else, a pleasant surprise these days, what with my Aquamarine purchase having 10 out of 10 either cloudy, fractures, inclusions and chipped corners.Red Jasper is a very visually appealing stone and is a favourite of mine. Yes, I would certainly purchase again when I need some replacements or gifts.

Collecting these ”semi-precious” and ”ornamental” stones and ores is a hobby which appeals to some; by its very nature it is difficult to “rate” in the classical sense since one man’s meat might be another’s poison and, to my mind, serious collectors go for specific features such as rarity, beauty, mineralogical, geological and other features. What follows is my personal view, and is not meant to dismiss any stone as being unworthy of collecting: my interest is part aesthetic and part mineralogical; I like titanium quartz, but am so-so with ordinary quartz and so forth.The object here is striking in its colouration and a good piece to have in one's collection.

These are nice , I got what i paid for in size & colour , they look nice in the wood dish i have , i am not into all this health & magic that some people put in these stones , by the way these are polished well like you see in the picture .
