The media could not be loaded. I’ve tried a lot of heating pads over the years, but the UTK Infrared Heating Pad has quickly become my go-to. Honestly, I didn’t expect it to make such a difference, but it really has. The first thing I noticed is how quickly it warms up. I’m used to waiting forever for a heating pad to get to the right temp, but this one gets nice and hot in no time. It feels way hotter than most heating pads I’ve used, like 5-10°F hotter, which is actually pretty noticeable. The heat just seems to sink in deeper and I can tell it’s not just surface-level warmth. I was pretty skeptical about the whole infrared heat thing, but wow, it actually works. The heat goes deeper into my muscles and joints than regular pads, and I can feel it. I’ve had some bad back pain recently, and within 15 minutes of using this, I honestly felt a lot better. It really gets into the muscles, and it feels like the relief lasts longer. It’s not just like “okay, it feels warm,” but more like “ahh, this is actually helping.” I can feel the difference after just one use, and it’s been a game-changer. I love that this pad has 8 heat settings. I’ve had other heating pads where you’re either too hot or too cold, but this one gives you a lot of options to dial it in just right. It also has a timer and an auto shut-off, which is super handy. I tend to fall asleep with it on, so knowing it’ll turn off after a while is comforting. Plus, it’s big enough to cover my entire back or even wrap around my legs, which makes it perfect for targeting multiple spots at once. If you’re on the fence, I really recommend giving the UTK Infrared Heating Pad a shot. It’s honestly been one of the best things I’ve added to my routine for pain relief. It heats up fast, works way better than other pads I’ve tried, and the deep heat just feels so much more effective. I really like this. It does not feel like a traditional heating pad, somehow it feels nicer than that. There are many more temperature controls, so I like that I can have just a mild heat. I think this is very nice and I'm happy with my purchase.

Easy to use and works well. The highest temp is almost too hot, which is a good thing because you can always use a thin cloth between it to regulate that.

I ordered this infrared heating pad for myself as I have multiple chronic health conditions to where I’ve found an infrared heating pad is far more helpful than the regular ones. After one week of having my new infrared heating pad, the controller displayed “E6” and stopped working all together. I looked up the manufacturer’s (UTK) contact information and sent them an email directly, telling them exactly what was going on. To my surprise, they emailed me back right away (provided the time zone difference) stating they believed it was the controller and suggested they try sending out a new controller to solve the issue. As soon as I received the new controller, I promptly hooked everything up but then while the controller started working, unfortunately the heating pad was not getting warm at all. Of course I was disappointed and just knew I must have gotten a ‘lemon’ or something, so I emailed them back again (the same email thread with the same, very kind contact) letting them know what was going on. Once again, they emailed me back very promptly, still as kind as could be, stating they would be shipping out a brand new heating pad right away. They gave me their word, followed through, even shipped it UPS Air, and a brand new one was on my doorstep right away! So I’m happy to report that this new one is working just fine, as it should, and I love it! Without hesitation, I would most certainly order more (and will be ordering more) of their products again because I know in the instance anything should go wrong, they will make it right.Just having a manufacturer that stands behind their product and works with you, is something that is sadly very rare these days but thankfully, still alive and well with UTK!

I’ve been looking for a heating pad that holds a constant heat and has a high temperature. This pad holds a temperature, which is good. The instruction manual states this heating pad will get up to 151 degrees to 159 degrees. The most I could get out of it was 105.4 degrees. That’s just a tad over my normal body temperature. It did not relieve my headache as a hot shower does. I was hoping this was the answer and it’s not!

The media could not be loaded. I am a fan of far infrared heating pads for deep heating and this is my 3rd UTK product. I trust this vendor as I have had an excellent experience with their customer service (one of my old pads was replaced within a few days when the cord stopped functioning).Unlike the others, this one does not have the jade/tourmaline stones to help transmit the heat. The manual says it uses carbon fiber heating wire tech. The up side to this is that it heats up very rapidly compared to the stone tech. Also, without the stones, the pad is thin and flexible, making it easier to wrap around and closely hug different parts of your body. Does it work?? It’s obviously impossible for us to measure how deep the heat really goes. But I can say that it does take away my usual early morning muscle tightness/stiffness just as well as the “stoned” pads, and you don’t have to wait as long for the heat. It’s great to help warm up before exercise.The 1ft x 2 ft dimension is ample for heating my lower back, hamstrings, and is good to wrap around my legs. As described in the manual, It does reduce heat if the pad is folded onto itself, probably a safety feature.The control on this is simpler, and you’re actually selecting different temperature ranges (P1, P2, etc) instead of a specific target temperature. P4 is plenty (max P8 is way too hot). Timer is in 15 increments. No brainer: highly recommend this product. It works well for what a deep heating pad is supposed to do, with some added benefits.

Can't adjust temperature. Would like for it too be hotter! Doesn't actually help
