These are keepers
These are very nice and actually stainless steel. I was skeptical due to the price and fully expected them to have rusted from being washed in the dishwasher. Surprise! They came out gleaming. I've used them once and they worked great. I made crumpets for the first time ever. If you want a fun cookbook by a charming author I'd recommend Bakes and Wee Treats by Jonny Murphy. It's only available in the Kindle version in the US right now, or you can preorder a hard copy. I've read too many Irish/British murder mysteries to have never had a crumpet! His Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread is also a winner. Next up, homemade English muffins! All made possible by these useful little gems. They washed up equally as well after I used them.

Works great for my Japanese Pancakes,etc
The media could not be loaded. I had a Japanese Pancake recipe and I needed these Ring Molds to cook them in and these worked perfectly well. All I did was place them in pan with a glass lid and a little water also I used a little cooking spray inside for easy removal. At this price I would recommend them to anyone.

Very versatile

You can use them for sweet baked desserts, such as mousses, mini cheese cakes and entremets. They also work well for savory dishes and breads, including English muffins and layered egg dishes. One other option is to use them for cold and frozen items. I ordered this size specifically for two recipes. The first is for ice cream sandwiches and my 3” shortbread cookies fit inside beautifully. The second use will be to make layered agar agar desserts. The stainless steel material is fine for using in the oven and it excels at chilling ingredients, especially in comparison to my silicone molds. The molds are carefully finished with no burrs and a smooth seam. They are a bit on the thin side compared to my others, but still hold their shape. The pusher is great for getting your food out easily and neatly, especially if you use a very thin coating of oil. Hand washing or putting the rings in the dishwasher both work well for cleaning. My only regrets are that these did not come in a box to protect them when being stored and that there is no lifter for moving the contents of the ring to a serving plate without being harmed. For me, the biggest factor in recommending this product is that the price is quite a bargain.
