BUY THIS BOOK because there are too many and too valuable to just drop here.

Highly recommended for anyone without a traditional data background wanting to launch a career in data analytics.

This book very helpfully and clearly lays out the whole path to becoming a data analyst from start to finish, as well as what the job entails. In my case, I initially thought this might be a good career transition for me, so that I would be able to more flexibly and easily work from home (I already work part-time from home, but never really know when a day will be busy or not) while caring for my 3-year-old and another baby on the way. However, this book made me realize that's out of the question (especially because of the amount of time and flexibility needed for job searching). So bottom line: I'm happy that this book enabled me to quickly move on and consider alternative options.
