Worth the price
It is must for any filmmakers or any other purpose for achieving best audio quality. all though it may sound bad if you connect it to camera slot and record. So i recommend you to purchase Zoom H1 Digital audio recorder along with this for great experience.Thumbs up ^^

Its a wonderful device. I'm sorry my earlier comment was wrongly posted as i wanted to complain again amazon fire stick remote and message got posted at the wrong product. Rode VideoMic is one of the best i have used till now.

Doesn't cut noise like a proper shotgun !
It doesn't perform like a shotgun at all ! i hoped this would cut the ambient noise and stick to the sound that it is being pointed at ! Dissapointed a bit ! even with the low pass filter on ! but for a start its is a great mic ! The warranty provided by RODE is amazing !
