EASY-TO-USE, WELL-ORGANIZED, AND HIGHLY EFFECTIVE!
My daughter has been looking for educational materials to help kids read and spell. She used cards with wooden tiles before, but she wasn’t very impressed because they were limited to only CVC words and tended to get messy. So, I decided to buy this as a gift for her, and we’re so impressed! My grandkids, who are under 4 and 6 years old, have learned very quickly! The younger one learned to read CVC words in less than a month and has also learned to write letters. The older one has learned to read, write, and spell many words, including those with long vowel sounds, which can be tricky for kids to spell. The set comes with some suggested fun activities, which are a great option to extend learning. It also includes instructions with tips on how to carry out teaching. A daily routine of 10-15 minutes is recommended, but 3-4 times a week works well for us. So, do whatever works best for you and your child. As a former early childhood reading teacher, I couldn’t be happier! These learning cards are definitely the best—perfect for busy homeschooling moms!

Great flash cards!!
We love this set! My son is autistic and he has been practicing saying his words with his behavioral therapist so much more with this set. It combines pictures with the words.

Good bunch of flash cards
Great bunch of flash cards! My only call out is I wish it would provide more rings so I can separate them into more categories than grouping some into a big stack.

Great progressive literacy tool
This kit contains 8 levels of spelling, reading and writing material. The laminated cards are thick, all with pre-cut holes to place on the four included connector rings. The set begins with letter recognition on the front with pictures to help the child isolate the beginning sound. On the back of each letter card, there is a space, along with instructions, of how to write each upper and lower case letter properly. The kit also includes three colorful dry-erase markers. As the levels progress, they are broken down by CVC recognition, FLOSS and Z Rules, beginning sounds, diagraphs, beginning and end consonant blends, long vowels, Magic E, soft C, nasal blends, common endings, silent letters, etc.Early in the series, short stories are included so children can hear these specific sounds in action.I teach K-3 struggling readers and this will be an amazing compliment/warm up for my students each day.I'm really impressed with this set and feel any child will benefit from this system.

Great set of phonics flashcards, Levels Pre-reading through Level 8
This is a phonics kit that contains 530 cards for Pre-Reading through Level 8. The cards are laminated and printed on both sides - they work well with dry erase pens (three are included) and erase easily. Each of the cards has a hole (for a ring) so you can batch them. However, only 5 rings were included. The Pre-reading set is 26 cards and covers letter recognition. On the back of each card, is space to practice writing both upper and lower case letters. Each level of cards covers more in-depth understanding of language and words and ultimately sentences. The number of cards at each level seems pretty random, but the ones included are good. There are also suggestion cards - which I love!My state has just adopted a new reading curriculum, but I still think this set will benefit my students - we will use them for small group activities.

Not all "phonics" items are created equal
Phonics is everyone's favorite reading word and with good reason, but it only works when it is done properly. Unfortunately, these flash cards do not present it properly.Pros: The cards are high-quality. It comes with three markers with erasers on the tip for easy use. The two-sided cards allow for writing on the back side to reinforce the learning on the front side. Some of the cards are done properly.Cons: The sounds are not presented properly or in the proper developmental order. While it is great that the pre-reading cards focus on the letters, they should do so with simple three-letter words on them. As the levels progress, some are done well, but then there are issues with letter combinations such as "ng" which should be presented as "ing." The activities that are provided are not necessarily ones that would support literacy, just as advertised -- fun things to do.Overall, as a literacy tutor, I would not use these with my students.

Great Game
The kids love this game, and so easy to use and open! Also good for the kids to do independently and work on their cvc words! Perfect for a kindergarten classroom or if you wanted to purchase for a teacher! I highly recommend and great for the price!

These are nice interactive cards and they work
I like that these have cards for different levels including alphabet cards to help before reading. These give you ideas on how to interact with your toddler to help teach them. You can write on the cards with dry erase markers and they erase easily, for my toddler that helps break the ice and increase comfort with these.I wish the pictures they used for letters were less confusing, they work but I feel like at the beginner level they should be more obvious.InfoAlphabet pictures could be easierWorks at many levelsGood ideasInteractive
