I love this knife. It’s my new favorite kitchen gadget. I even bought one for my mother. I make homemade sourdough and it’s so difficult to slice it all the way through with a regular bread knife. But it slices SO EASILY with this knife! I get perfect slices every time, and almost no trouble cutting through the bottom, which is harder than the rest of the bread.Tip: if you’re having trouble slicing through the bottom of your sourdough, just flip the loaf over so you cut through the bottom to the top.

I was not sure about this when I purchased it, but it has been a game changer with cutting sourdough! I make gluten free sourdough almost weekly. This helps me to cut nice thin slices very comfortably in my hand. It feels very well-made and looks beautiful on my cutting board!

It does help keep the bread slices even but it does not work on crispy fresh sourdough right out of the oven. Next day softer crust no problem.

This was surprisingly great.I’ve owned other bread knives because I have professionally baked bread and do it as a hobby. This bread knife works better than most. Great price and a wide cut. I was also happy that it is very easy to get an even slice.
