Hi guys, now you're be reading my review of 'ShengShou 4x4x4 Cube', which is manufactured by Shengshou Cubes and imported to India by Cublelo - 'The Cube Store'. This one of the best and cheap 4x4 cubes available in India.First of all, its better to mention that this is not actually a speed cube. Though it is smoother and faster than many other cubes, but still it is not ideal for speedcubing like the MoYu or YJ ones. Moreover the Rubik's Brand, officially doesn't recommend 4x4 cubes for speedcubing as it has more number of parts than the 3x3. But still, pretty decent cubes at this price.Anyways, lets move into the Product Description.....| Product Description | :-The product comes in a compact cardboard box, with everything on ot written in Chinese. The product also comes with a complete manual, but that also is of no use, as that is in Chinese too. The cube is also covered in a transparent wrapper inside the package. It has 5 normal basic colours, with one colour in exception, which is the Yellow face, that is Light Yellow, i.e., Normal Yellow with a mixture of Light Green in it. The stickers are also full-bright and glossy and hence are not of matte finish. There are total of 64 small pieces in the cube. It also has pretty good weight.It is probably the best 4x4 cube available in India.Now lets get into the Pros and Cons....| Pros | :-1) Very smooth and fast. At least a lot better than the Funskool one.2) Corner cuttings are pretty smooth.3) The core structure is enhanced and circular, which helps to reduce friction.4) Spring tensions can be adjusted.5) Doesn't pop out easily (though with proper or tight screw adjustment only). Piece/cubicle twisting also does not occur.6) It is cheaper than other 4x4 cubes with a really good speed.| Cons | :-1) Stickered cube !! Stickers will peel off easily and quickly.2) A bit heavy cube. Difficult to carry thus.3) Opening the cube is a nightmare. Its so hard for customising ! There are a lot of small pieces other than cubicles.4) Gets stuck a lot, even if you unscrew the center screws even by a single little turn.5) Not very durable. The original brand's 4x4 is much better in terms of durability.6) Smaller than the Rubik's Brand's 4x4 cube. The cube was delivered within 2 days thanks to Amazon's courier services. Now coming to the cube.Pros-1. Well built.2. Good for beginners and intermediates alike.3. Layers move without hindrance.4. Comes pre-lubricated but it should be lubricated once within 3-4 months.5. Corner cutting is good.Cons-1. Seldom lockups.2. Dull colour scheme.3. Stickers are not of the best quality.VERDICT:- If you are a beginner or an intermediate cuber or budget conscious this cube is for you but this cube is not good enough for competitions and pro speedcubers.Thanks for reading my review.

Very smooth movement of the cube. I am not a speed cuber. I am still learning speed cubing although I know how to solve this Skewb. The quality is excellent of this cube. Along with this I ordered Shengshou 4x4 as well as Shengshou 4x4. I was trying to unpack all of them at the same time and slipped them all on the floor and they were intact. I am completely satisfied with the quality of the cube.

This is actually a great piece. It wont get blocked like the other cubes and also its light compared to the Funskool version. It sure ain't any close to speed cube but the rotation is pretty smooth. I haven't yet disassembled its pieces, so I cant tell what it looks like from inside. Trust me, the chances of pieces falling apart by accident is inevitable even for the best version. But its actually worth the price.

Received this a couple of days back. I had earlier ordered a 4x4x4 cube from Funskool which was horrible to use and I had to return it. Ordered this one after reading the reviews and I'm quite happy with the product.Easy to use. Seems to be of good quality. Well lubricated so I had no trouble using it. Good, reasonably priced option for speed cubing.Only negative is that it is a bit smaller than expected. It is only slightly bigger than the normal 3x3 cube. Will need time getting used to this size.

If you are a novice cuber and you're looking for a perfect 4x4 cube for solving for fun, well this is it.Shengshou brand in particular makes rubix cubes which are perfect novice players.Firstly, this is not a speed cube. A 4x4 speed cube would be much more expensive than this one.But even at this price, this cube has a reasonably smooth movement. I have solved it roughly for more than a year and cube pieces have not popped out so far.The cube is stickered and they are also perfectly at their place. Besides, the stickers are not tacky colored (trust me, this point if more important than you think)I always look for this brand to buy any new puzzle and I would definitely recommend you to buy it.

Great cube, great movement, the best from shengshou, but the sticker is coming off after the first use. and one sticker was tampered from begining itself. otherwise a good cube.

Think before you buy this.this is not for bigginers.but why?? Cube is so smooth and because of that smoothness the cube should be delicate. Not only this cube any professional cube will be delicate. By chance if it fells down it will break into pieces if you are a professional in cube then only you can fix this other wise you cannot.so I suggest don't buy this cube for biggeners.if you are a professional then go for it cube is so smooth. For biggeners I suggest cyclone cube because it won't break. Any Zhengzhou cube in the market will break if it fell down.because it's made for speedness.
