It really works. PLEASE READ
I bought a car that had the most powerful, unbearable and disgusting cigarettes smell. You could not believe and/or imagine how it was. This Product works very well, unbelievably well. I have seen some other brands that also effectively work, but leaving a strong chlorine smell, that could potentially become a collateral problem, this one, eliminates the bad odor, and the Chlorine smell dissipates quite well. Provided Instructions are simple but somewhat vague with some lack of crucial info. So, here are some tips.THIS IS HOW YOU USE IT:1.- Clean the car the best you can, cleaning floor mats, car carpet, seats, wiping down every surface of the car. If the odor you are trying to get rid of is super strong, I'd suggest to replace floor mats for new ones.2.- Wear some gloves , you don't want the smell of ClO2 in you hands. Open the plastic jar container and fill it halfway with DISTILLED WATER. TAP water will work, but when it comes to chemical reaction, in order to reach the highest effectiveness you must use DISTILLED WATER, so no minerals and other chemicals present in TAP water interferes, hence decreasing effectiveness. If you don't have distilled water at home, you can buy some or simply get it from the AC drain water (AC unit water is distilled water as long is taken directly not contaminating it with other source).3.- Place the container jar on the floor of the car close to the point where you feel the odor is stronger, if the bad odor is present everywhere in the car, put the jar in the middle console or armrest.4.-Drop the ClO2 tablets of 1 pouch in the container with the distilled water (of course with no lid), then proceed to lock the car and let it work for at least 10 hour, I would suggest overnight. MAKE SURE NOBODY OPEN OR GETS INSIDE THE CAR WHILE THE PROCESS.5.- After the time have passed, Open the door, crank on the car, set the AC at MAX, close the door, let it run for 20 minutes, after that, crank it off , secure the jar by putting the lid, roll window halfway down and let it get some air for 15 minutes. At this point you should notice the difference.6.- DO NOT DISPOSE the liquid yet, you can reuse it if needed, it will still release gases while still YELLOW, if is clear it is basically done. If you want to repeat the process, just shake well (Don't smell the jar directly), open it and repeat the process. When liquid is clear or almost clear you can dispose it and use the second pouch if needed. My own experience: It decreased the cigarette odor by 95% after two rounds, the remaining 5% is just a brief super light smell that blows out when opening the door but not perceptible when inside the car AT ALL. I think it comes from the driver's seat (It has microperforated leather seats for cooling system), and I guess is from those small holes from where it come from. I personally recognize the faint odor because I know what it is or better said how the odor was, but someone that never knew about the bad odor will not determine. As far of AC vents, the bad odor DISSAPERED in a 100% rate !! AC blows with a new car smell. ODORLESS 100%It works like magic!.Follow these instructions and it will work.

Did not work!!!
I followed all the directions completely and this product did not remove any of the odor that is in my truck. After using both packages placed separately one in the front of the interior and one towards the back of the interior and leaving them inside the closed up vehicle for 24 hours, the smell inside was no different from before I used this product. I would not recommend it to anyone!!!

It’s okay… but there are better options
Worked okay, but not enough tablets for a midsize suv, especially one with extensive cigarette smoke. It’s also expensive for only 10 tablets when you can buy a bag of 500 for 40$

Powerful enough to rid of skunk smell
Truly does work. Dogs got sprayed by skunks and one of the dogs got into the garage right after. Unfortunately the windows to our Suburban was cracked and the smell made its way in. It has cloth interior which made this even worse for it to permeate. Followed the instructions exactly as mentioned and it was gone. Truck smells like it never happened.

I think it worked in my accord
Did it for about 13 hours in my new to me Honda accord that smelled liked pot and bad carpet shampoo. I also purchased an $8 fish tank aerator as I’ve seen those used in other products like this. Seemed to help release the vapor. Smell kinda bleached the other smells for the most part. Was afraid to do the other pack and get too much of a bleach smell. About a week later with a light air freshener, it smells pretty good. The product did leave a slight film on my dash and etc. wiped off and didn’t seem to be an issue.

Easy to use and works great!
We were struck hard by hurricane Milton and our car got flooded with contaminated water. The car works but the smell was horrible! After trying everything we tried this. I was apprehensive because of all of the safety warnings but is was so easy to use. We mixed it, left it overnight and the smell was gone. Completely gone! And that was 4 months ago so it has lasted quite a while. We would have saved so much money if we used this first!! It's a great value especially considering how long it has lasted so far.

not worth it, does literally nothing
released gas and bubbled for maybe 30 minutes. this is not nearly as strong as other products I've tried and costs twice as much.didn't pack much punch. sniffed car an hour later and it smelled like nothing was even used.

Didn't eliminate gas odor
I made the mistake of carrying some 5 gallon gas cans in the back of the SUV. It reeked of gasoline, despite shampooing the carpet. Several sources said this would work, so I tried it. It helped quite a bit but didn't eliminate the odor.
