It works great.
As a professional potter of 13 years I absolutely adore this thing. There's so many things it does incredibly well. It applies super dark so only one layer is needed. The one layer is super thin so its super easy to do sgraffito techniques. You can paint long lines or thick areas so much faster than you could ever do with a brush. My only wish here is that there are more options. Its super difficult to make thin lines due to the size of the tips included. If it had a wider range of tips available it would be a 20/10. But alas I will have to settle for 10/10.

It works!
Rip is flexible, but the color is the strongest and line is smoothest of any underglaze pencil or marker I've tried.

Hard to remove on bisqueware, but otherwise great!
Great brush tip and surprisingly smooth application. My only complaint is that the underglaze is basically impossible to remove on bisqueware. I messed up a circle and tried to wipe it off with a damp sponge. All it did was create a massive smear. Kept wiping with more water and it just got worse. Tried using rubbing alcohol as well to remove and no dice. Really strange because I can wipe away underglaze on bisqueware with no issue. Not sure what it is about this pen that makes it different. I tried to wipe it off on both white stoneware and porcelain bisque and had the same issue on both. Maybe it’s easier to wipe off on greenware? I was only able to remove it by sanding. Basically, this is a sharpie. Once it’s on there, it’s on for life!

Under glaze pen
I love this marker. It makes nice lines and doesn’t leak. Would recommend

Had high hopes but was disappointed
I was really looking forward to getting this and liking it for specific line work on a piece, but the felt tip heads shape got distorted really quickly after pressing down on the ceramic surface a little firmly, and I wasn’t able to get the level of precision I was hoping for. Maybe it was user error, but I also wasn’t expecting it to be so unforgiving just because I pressed down a little too hard once.

Smooth and dark
Game changer! It writes and produces a sharpie-like line, so smooth and easy to use. I used on bone dry clay before bisque fire. Love.

I love this for my ceramic hobby. It's very solid pure black, goes on like a dream and fires without running. It is a bit thicker than I would have liked but I have worked out that a very fine touch gives a nice delicate outline.

In comparison to brush painting with underglaze this is a dream to work with. Washing the nib prior to use helped to prevent clogging from previous use and lets the glaze flow smoothly. I just wish they did other colours.
