These keys will not start your car. And that’s Ok
I programmed the key using the ignition switch method and it locks and unlocks the doors and opens the trunk and turns on the alarm. I bought $140 key cutter and cut my own keys which go into the ignition, turn on the electrical, but these keys will not start your car. There must be an ID 46 chip That will send a signal to your car transponder, in the key. The ID 46 chip has to be programmed by someone with a special programmer and those machines are $$$$. You can bypass the car’s immobilizer with a $70 gadget but then that security feature of needing the ID 46 chip in the key, is gone. but the keys work as they’re supposed to. I just wish the ad stated that you cannot start your car. But you can do everything else.

Works great after cut & programmed.
These steps program doors & trunk. For ignition & cutting keys, I had to go to locksmith.Step 1: Gather all the remotes. You only need one remote to access program mode, but all remotes must be programmed during the same session. Your Honda will “forget” any remote previously programmed. Step 2: Sit in the vehicle with all the doors closed and unlocked. Step 3: Turn the key to the ON position, one click before starting the ignition. The lights on the accessories should come on and the dash will light up. Step 4: Within 5 second of turning the key to the ON position, press the LOCK button on your remote control transmitter for one second. Step 5: Turn the key to the OFF position. Step 6: Repeat Steps 4 & 5 two more times for a total of three ON/OFF cycles. Each step must be done within 5 seconds of the previous step. Step 7: Turn the key back to the ON position (this will be your fourth turn of the key), press the “LOCK” button on your remote. The locks on your Honda will make a clunk noise exactly as they do when locking. You doors have not locked. This noise indicates your Honda is now in Remote Programming Mode. Do not turn the key off. Step 8: If you would like to program more than one remote, press the LOCK button on each additional remote for 1 second. As with all other steps, you have 5 seconds to complete this step. Programming Mode will be activate for a total of 10 seconds. Only 3 remotes can be programmed to each Honda. Your locks will make the clunking noise (as though the doors have locked) after each remote is programmed to indicate they have been successfully stored in the system’s memory. Step 9: Turn the key to the OFF position and remove it from the ignition. Test all of your remotes to ensure they have been successfully programmed.

Chinese junk
I couldn't get this to program to my car so I took it to a locksmith and they said there's not even any chip in it to program! Absolute garbage.

Can't beat it
Good build quality. Buttons have a nice tactile response. Operates from a decent range. For my purposes, this provides an outstanding value for the money spent.Bought this intending to use as a key fob, not a master key/spare key replacement. Programming for that purpose was very quick and easy, requiring no tools or devices. (Scroll to the end of my review for instructions.)!!!Be aware that if you want to use this to start the vehicle, you will have to have the immobilizer programmed and the key blade cut to match the original. Programming the immo DOES require a specialized device!!!To program the fob only:1-Insert working key to ignition cylinder2-Turn ignition to "ON," but do NOT turn it further. Do not start the engine.3-Immediately after turning to "ON" position, press the lock button on the fob one time. Red light on the fob should blink once.4-Turn ignition cylinder/original key back to the "OFF" position5-Repeat (in order) steps 2, 3, then 4. Do this about 5 times.Horn will chirp when fob is programmed

Works Great
I programmed it myself with the guys review instructions on the review section of this Key, the key now locks and unlocks my doors, did not pop the trunk though, but I will get it cut soon and will update after that is completed. ****SO UPDATE I DID GET IT TO OPEN THE TRUNK, JUST HAD TO HOLD IT IN A FEW SECONDS LONGER.

Saved so much money!!!
So happy with the ease and cost of these key case replacements. I was quoted over $200 to replace my 15 year old cars key case. Bought these and changed the case in less than 10 mins. That easy!

Perfect
I’m giving it the rating because it wasn’t easy to figure out how to change out my old one for this one… I wish it came with instructions.. I actually had to take it to someone who had to do it for me because I couldn’t figure it out….
