A no-frill, no-nonsense notebook that helps you focus on the task of writing. Has a decent leather-esque cover, but not sure if it's the real thing. Page thickness is just right—neither too thin nor thick. They're safe to write on with a fountain pen, meaning no blotting. Only wish there were more pages for the price one is paying.

The notebook has smooth off-white pages which can easily take the wet ink flow from my TWSBI Eco Medium nib fountain pen. There is noticeable ghosting but I got used to it pretty quickly and fortunately I haven't had any feathering or bleed-through yet. I'd have preferred a more sturdy cover and a cheaper price tag but overall, I am satisfied with the quality especially since I couldn't find anything else better for this price.

Okay, when I first got this notebook I was kinda disappointed thinking it's too thin and won't last for more than a month since I journal a lot but BUT as I kept on using this journal – I fell in love with this journal, it hasn't come to any end and it is my very first journal which I enjoyed using!No, the ink doesn't bleeds through the paper, the texture is smooth for touch and is of course not too small or too large for journaling. You can also use it to bullet journal!And I am really satisfied with this journal and suggest you to buy it as well, it's worth the price ;-;

I used to use Amazon Basics (unruled) books initially for sketching, but the paper is not so great, for light washes of watercolour. This Papercoal book on the otherhand is quite good. Of course the paper cannot handle heavy washes, but it takes light washes without buckling. It accepts permanent ink from brushpens quite gracefully, though there is some slight bleeding on the other side. The binding is well done too.Recommended as an EDC sketchbook - durable and not expensive.

Simply great! But unfortunately not available currently when I want to buy more. From the Papercoal website, only 1 quantity can be purchased, which I already did in 2019.

Its a beautiful piece of stationary..paper quality is awesome too.. bought it to use as a journal for my baby..absolutely love it
