This LCD writing tablet compares favourably with other I have used. Although marketed as a children's toy, they are actually very useful for leaving notes and messages for others in your household.The device is really quite clever. Once it's turned on, use the supplied stylus to draw or write on the screen. Multicoloured marks will trace your exact stokes. And they remain, even after turning the device off. Very clever. To clear the screen, turn it on, then press the erase button.It's such a clever, useful tool, and one that I recommend.

I've used a couple of these in the past but this version is much slimmer and a lot lighter.I wrongly assumed that the battery needed fitting or enabling by pulling out a piece of clear film. However, it turned out that the battery was already installed. There is no power switch. All I needed to do was to move the 'lock' switch to the unlocked position so I could then erase the image and start drawing. By the way, when the battery needs replacing you will need a tiny screwdriver.The screen is quite sensitive and an image can also be created with a fingernail or any other firm item; you don't have to use the supplied stylus.These LCD tablets are great fun and my two-year-old tester really enjoyed doodling and sketching as well as drawing self portraits.These tablets are also quite a lot of fun and very relaxing for adults, especially as you can very quickly erase your rather poor attempts at outdoing your children.I'm more than happy to recommend this tablet and suggest that it would make a great gift for a toddler or an adult with artistic tendencies.
