Great dog training collar
I really like this collar for training my high energy rescue dog with some underlying behavioral problems. He’s smart and learns fast, but is really quick and with this I am able to work efficiently with him. I did lots of training, on line classes, the Dogtra training book and with a trainer prior to using it. A single digit level is all it takes to get his attention and I can’t feel it until it’s at a 16. I love the remote button as I can always get to it quickly if needed and the functions are very easy to use. The collar and remote are proving to be durable and I have had no issues with the battery life.I highly recommend this product, but recommend training yourself first if you want to be able to use it optimally for efficient training.

This E-Collar can truly be a life saver! You MUST know how to use these E-collars
Best E-collars in the business. Being able to change the intensity from 1 to 127, makes this collar from a training aid to a deterrent against snakes and other killers, when used responsibly. I was used to save my neighbors dog. Our neighbor’s dog had killed some chickens and our neighbor was going to put a bullet in the dog because you cannot have a chicken killer on the farm. I persuaded them to let me use my Dogtra Arc on Faith, their dog, and promised that she would no longer kill chickens. I am happy to say that 6 years later Faith is still with our neighbor and has never had another incident with chickens. This E-Collar can truly be a life saver! This is our 6th Dogtra E-Collar and our 2nd purchase of the Arc model. We have trained our dogs from a 30lb Jack Russell/Pug mix, a 75lb German Shepherd and 3 of our 85lb Southern Blackmouth Curs since 1984. We will use no other E-Collar. You MUST know how to use these E-collars or you will DAMAGE your dog!

Quality and very user friendly
Overall hands down has been the best. I have had other in same class. But this one is quality and straight forward. I have not got to use hands free unit yet. I do love the switch to change from dog 1 and dog 2, it takes the guess work out of it. It's up or down and it has a clear click when you switch it. The collar is modest and fits nice on the dog. Will be buying second collar. Love the boost also, I have 2 shepherds and one is dog reactive. This is the only collar that Clearly tells him no and brings him back to earth. Then go right back to regular training.

Awesome wrist button!
I love that is waterproof and that you can add an additional dog. Also the ability to have quick access on your wrist with the button is an ingenious feature.

So far, it’s working well!
I have two dogs set up on my remote. I have a Malinois and a pitty, both going through training. We did by the extender point of contacts to use a long with this (I can’t remember the exact name of them), highly recommend buying those with it. The dial on the remote can be a little wonky and overly sensitive at times, but the system is very responsive. The charge does seem inconsistent at times. One day it shows fully charged and can last a week, now it’s being charged nightly and it isn’t even being used that often. That’s only a small inconvenience though. I did have this on my dog in the pool, but didn’t use it, it worked just fine afterwards. Overall it’s a great system and easy to learn.

Effortless Training with Long-Range Control
The Dogtra ARC HANDSFREE has exceeded all expectations with its intuitive design and impressive range. Using this training collar is straightforward, even for those new to remote training tools. The hands-free button is a game-changer, allowing for seamless corrections without having to fumble with a remote. The range is exceptional, providing reliable control even at significant distances, making it perfect for off-leash training sessions in open areas. The build quality is robust, and the collar is comfortable for my dog to wear for extended periods. The low-profile design ensures it doesn't stand out too much, which is a nice touch. The responsiveness of the controls is excellent, offering precise adjustments that make it easy to find the right level for different training situations. The battery life is impressive, lasting through multiple sessions without needing frequent recharges.Overall, the Dogtra ARC HANDSFREE is a fantastic tool that delivers on all fronts. It provides the reliability and ease of use needed for effective training, making it a must-have for any dog owner. Highly recommend! ★★★★★

Great collar
Like the low profile. Replacing a large blocky trainer. This collar was like 3x the cost. Seems much more well built and durable. Wish this collar had a tone or light as well for the money. But my dog is responding much stronger to this page than the last collars buzz. The knob to change settings is great until you try to get on a specific number. Took me way longer than it should have to get my boost set to exactly 10 and not 9 or 11.overall excellent collar.

Buyer Beware
This is the first time I have tried this brand and I feel like I threw my money in the garbage. Don't be me, test it immediately or just don't but it at all. Seriously, I have to shell out another 200+ bucks for a different one and I have too much integrity to try to sell this used to somebody.Inconsistent Stim: When tested on me, at a level, I will press the button and hold multiple times and get multiple stim levels. Without changing the dial, sometimes I feel it, sometimes I really feel it, and sometimes I don't feel it at all.Ineffective on Dog: My dog doesn't have short hair, but doesn't have long hair either. He doesn't feel it consistently and more often than not doesn't feel it at all.No Level Lock: The dial goes through 127 level in a single turn, so as you can imagine it's very sensitive. Because this unit lacks a lock, it will not stay where you set it. Set it to 20, walk for a few minutes, look down and now its on 30.No quick bump: Units I've used in the past have had a way to give a stim above level with a button. So if you set it to 10, there is a button that will go at 15. Handy in case the dog sees a squirrel and a 10 will no longer do. This unit does not have such feature.
