Good product great price

This is an essential tool for any at home alignment work, and in theory is awesome. The practical application with this tool is a little underwhelming though, mainly due to the underpowered magnet, which renders it almost useless. Firstly, you have to have flat, steel rims to use, which is fine for most older cars/trucks, but newer stuff often uses aluminum, to which this magnet won't affix. This then requires using a steel plate, or something similar, to attach for a connection point. Ensure the plate is flat from rubber to rubber, otherwise you will get false leveling. Once prepping is complete, you can get started, if the weak magnet holds in place, so maybe consider zip ties also to ensure the level stays stationary. Again, great concept and mostly functional, with some extra effort, which could have been corrected with some quality control.

I used this to fix camber problem that caused excessive wear at the outer edge of the tire due to positive camber. I bought camber adjustment screw and used this to fix the problem. Make sure steering is straight so that two front tires are dead straight to be able to make accurate camber measurement.

Used on 2023 Tesla MYP. Knew camber was off due to inner tire wear. Adjusted within spec but h ent taken to an alignment shop to confirm.

I don't know why I have not picked up one of these in the past. Like most of us even professional mechanics out there you cannot do a front end alignment without some special tools.
