Great game for all ages and suitable for non-verbal (and visually inclined) kids
As a mom of school-aged kids (ages 9 to 14), one of whom is autistic and struggles greatly with language and abstract concepts, I'm always on the lookout for simple, fun and engaging games we can play and enjoy as a whole family. This game is very simple in concept, easy to learn, requires no verbal communication, and is silly to keep everyone laughing and having fun. The instructions are easy to understand and are set up with an adults section (with all the detailed setup and rules), followed by a shorter section that can be read aloud to children. It's a guessing game that can help develop a better understanding of probability...but so much of it is up to chance that age and math skills doesn't give adults that big of an advantage. No need for adults to feel like they have to "let" the child win in order for them to win. There are 60 circular cards that feature a scoop of ice cream on one side. There are 5 possible flavours of ice cream (12 scoops of each flavour). On the other side of each card are 3 potential ice cream flavours shown (1 being the correct flavour, 2 being wrong choices). Each player takes turn guessing which 1 of 3 is the correct flavour. Guess right and you collect the scoop on your ice cream come. Guess wrong and it stays in the discard area (where players can have a visual reminder of how many cards of each flavour have been revealed). The first player to collect 9 scoops of ice cream on their cone wins the game!On sale for $15, this game comes in a sturdy cardboard box with a hook and loop closure. The cards and game pieces all feel well made. The graphics are cute and bright. My autistic 12-yr old green has trouble sitting with turn taking games, but we were able to play a 3-person game pretty quickly and the game held his attention from beginning to end. The concept was easy for him to grasp. He giggled and laughed as we failed or succeeded with our guesses.I am quite happy with this game and will happily recommend it to other families with young children.

A good fun game for a 3 to 4 year old
My grandson loves it & often wants to play this game. It's always good to share time with him doing something fun.

A guessing game
This is purely a guessing game, with a tiny bit of strategy. My kids really liked it. But it's hard to steer the gam in a way that they can win. The game is that you take a card, and get 3 options for the type of ice cream on the other side. Guess one, if you are correct, you get that one, and the others of the same flavour to add to your cone. Pure luck. But the game is fast, and 2/3 times the guesser is wrong. So makes for some laughs. My kids had fun. Currently for sale for $14.97. Simple, and fun game. Not much strategy, but they kids like that.

Cute and simple!
This is an adorable little game about guessing which ice cream flavour you're going to pull from the deck, in order to fill up your sheet with ice cream balls. It's supposed to be very easy and understandable for very young children. It's bright, colourful, and very cute looking.I tried it out with a 4-year-old, who unfortunately lost interest after about 3 minutes! But that's not to say no 4 or 5 year old would be entertained. The paper does say you can play without reading but that's not really true. You do need to have a bit of a read to learn the (basic) rules. Essentially you just have a stack of small circular cards which have 3 flavours on the front, and one on the back. You take turns guessing which of the 3 colours will be on the back. It's quite fun as if you get a few wrong in a row, the tokens build up under that particular ice cream cone. So if someone guesses the "snail" ice cream correctly, they get that token, and any other snail tokens that were wrongly guessed before. Due to this, a round can be over in 5-10 minutes. It is a really cute game and I think perfect for 5 or 6 year olds. Or depending on the 4 year old's attention span :)
