Ubuntu Linux 16.10 64 Bit Operating System Install Live Bootable DVD

Hands up. I bought a windows 10 laptop with a 32gb SSD. I thought it would be OK. I was seduced by the price (it's in my genes). I thought, it must work if it is on sale - but that was optimistic naivety. After a while the laptop couldn't run updates, and wouldn't shut up about it. I tried to stop the updates, and I tried a few things which I read in magazines. But nothing I did worked. So I got Linux. The Linux is much smaller than windows 10 (what isn't? I hear you ask). The Linux is much more stable than windows 10 (see previous bracket). In use, a couple of little things are different but all the big things are the same. It starts fast, works well, and has given me back lots of space on my (little) hard drive. It has literally added years to the lifetime of my laptop. Highly recommended. Make a complete copy of your hard drive before you start.

Starting on 22 rather than 24, but this "old" laptop has a second life as a web authoring station...

Unfortunately I was unable to load Ubuntu front this memory stick.

Its Ubuntu but not the newest version which is not good. I tried sorting that out but something corrupted the dongle so now I just have a green empty dongle, but initially it installed fine and worked but I tried putting it on an old laptop thats when it died

Disk sent in error , but quickly resolved . have successfully utilised the ubuntu stick.. Too early to comment on the O system itself but its interesting being new to me.

I only have one laptop...it went south big time. After repair it would not boot. This was a great solution.

Loaded it up on an old Dell laptop no problems. Now to begin investigation into Linux

J ais reçu l installation kubuntu 16.10 au début je ne pouvais pas l'installer du au disque interne non formaté,une fois formaté installation correct . Par contre je ne peux pas lire les vidéos de YouTube plus les mises a jours ont pouvaient pas a les installer . Si vous prenez cette article penser que vous allez cherches des solutions sur internet et des installation sur le terminal ou la liste de commande et aussi être patient pour trouver des astuces d installation manuelle et aussi la mise en niveau du os kubuntu ( je suis novice de Linux sur internet ont peut trouver se soucis .toujours pas résolu le soucis de vidéo sur internet donc je vais cherches comment lire les vidéos bref ) Je le notes quatres pare ce que si ont se débrouille ou une bonne connaissance en informatique c'est tranquille je le recommande.

Speravo che fosse facile da installare ma dopo che aveva fatto tutto il procedimento diceva che doveva fare il riavvio dopo aver tolto la chiavetta USB e aver premuto enter al riavvio non si avviava più ho dovuto fare molte installazioni ma non con successo.mi dispiace
