Check the Size of Your Filter(s)
This filter wrench works okay on medium sized filters, such as most imports and later model domestics. No full-sized trucks or muscle cars.I happened to be working on a 1965 Mustang (289 V8) when I tried this tool. It is too small for the oil filter and too large for the fuel filter canister. It looks to fit the oil filter on my Toyota Tacoma.The tool appears decently constructed and should last. Not sure if the semi-hard plastic tabs will sufficiently grip a slippery filter. It would not be my primary choice, as I have other filer wrenches that likely would be easier to position. That said, it is good to have this style wrench in the toolbox for when it is needed.
