Great build, qc, and value
My first (of several now) in the iem world and was a decent choice. I bought these as open box through Amazon warehouse and paid a super nice price. Well built, it’s quality materials, cable is Nit detachable but also if better quality than most in the same price range. I attribute this to the fact they were made in the UK, with high quality and qc standards. Value wise, excellent for what I paid. They were not bad out of the box, but ran them for about 50 hours and the sound was more coherent, the highs not as sibilant ( not much before but better than before), and the base was well contained and not bloated at all. These are Not for bassheads for sure, but ample and accurate. The telephone mic is pretty good and works well. Keep in mind there is only one function (maybe 2): accept and hang up calls, and pause/restart music. No volume control.Using with my iPhone xR and decent sound with 16/44 lossless tracks, even with my stock apple dongle. I which someday, I’ll upgrade. Excellent value for the price (I paid), and a worthy set of buds. If I have an issue, the cable noise is somewhat bothersome, but setting still there are no issues,

Impressive depth while maintaining incredible clarity
I am honestly blown away at the sound quality of the jet 2, especially at this price. These are head and shoulders better than any other headphones I own. From the manufacture website, the frequency response range is 05-20kHz. What the specs don't describe is the degree of clarity these have while having incredible subwoofer depth while never sounding muffled or muddy. While they aren't quite as refined as the pro or pro 2, these easily compete with most IEMs several times their own price. They were a bargain when they were sold at just under $90, but now at $55, you really can't beat em. These are proving great for mixing as well as just listening to music. You really can hear every little nuance and music is somehow actually more fun to listen to. Just be warned, once you own Flares, it will ruin every other headphone you own...

Received a Defective headphone
I was excited to try these out, so immediately after I saw they were delivered, I tried them. Shocked! The left side was completely silent. Only the right side had sound coming out of it! And from what I could tell from the right side, it sounded flat overall. No highs, no lows, just plain flat like drinking flat, room-temperature seltzer that lost all of its fizzle because someone left the bottle open on the counter without closing it for 3 days, and now it just takes like plain water!Returning!

They're okay
Hoping for fuller sound for the reviews hype and $50+ price. They're okay, not bad, but not super great. Nice cord but east fit is kinda loose even with largest tops and i have small to average ear canal size. They are comfortable so far though some they basically stick straight into your rear without angling much. Good for work while at desk.

Pretty Amazing
These are actually quite great, and the microphone isn't bad either (as I realized on a Zoom call the other day).

Good start but now broken in 9 months
Needed a decent but relatively inexpensive set of in-ear earphones for wah during lockdown after the ser which came with my phone have up. I don't like Bluetooth ones.Had read decent reviews in one of the hi-fi mags about these.Decent and clear sound quality on Teams and phone calls and I liked the bass when listening to musix. These spend their days (or did) plugged into the earphone socket on my laptop and some time plugged into my phone. They are not subjected to the type of 'abuse' they would have been pre lockdown.. stuffed into pockets on flights/trains etc.Overall footprint and fit were great compared to the AKG ones which came with my phone and I don't want to sit all day with big over ear jobs on.So not impressed tbh when today they just stopped working. Cable shot internally just at the jack plug. Was about to order another pair but now seeing folk with similar issues.Didn't expect to be replacing them after such a short time and with so little 'abuse".Disappointed.Have other Flare products to relieve tinitus as suffer and more than happy both these. Not sure I'll replace with same product now.

Good style and good sound, slightly lacking in bass
Nice looking earphones nice sound quality for the price, though maybe not bassy enough for some. The cable is very flimsy and doesn't feel very high quality a constant issue with earphone manufacturers..... detachable/replaceable cables have been a thing for a long time and needs to become a standard feature for earphones that cost £50 up.

Great quality, highly recommended
I'm really impressed with the quality of these earphones. They sound so good that they are about as good as my top end audioquests! The base is deep and strong and the treble is very clear and sharp, perhaps even a little too sharp. A good mid range balance's them out perfectly. Highly recommended.

As a professional musician, I rate these as the best headphones I've ever used
I'm a professional performing musician playing globally some 80+ shows a year (www.thesmyths.net). I bought these to use as in ear monitors but almost immediately swapped these out to be the only headphones I use period. I've had headphones 5 x the price of these that lacked the clarity, detail and truth of sound that these have. Quite simply the best headphones I have ever used.
