The EMEET S600 4K Webcam has been a game-changer for my work calls on my MacBook. It works flawlessly with Microsoft Teams and other video apps, truly plug and play with no setup needed. Ive only had this camera for a week or so, but i love it. Its incredibly easy to use, just plug it into my windows computer and I'm good to go! So far the image quality is great, I cant say about the sound recording as I use a separate mic. The size and weight are nice and it has the capability to be mounted on a tripod as well!

I’ve never had a good webcam before, and this one is clear, setup was a breeze and works great with my MacBook Air M1! Also works great with OBS Studio! I’m very happy. Especially for the price. The only thing is the usb-c plugin in the back of the webcam seems loose or like it won’t last long, so I’ll be keeping my eye on that.

The image quality of this camera is quite good. It initially set up very easy, but I've had some issues with the camera not getting registered properly when I reboot the computer. I've had to unplug and plug it before applications like Teams work (they seemed to think the camera was there but there was no picture and the light on the camera was not on). I haven't noticed any problems with lag on the camera or failure to focus. I did install their software. I have not used the microphone and don't plan to, so I can't speak to that. The one feature that I wish were different is the blades on the privacy screen are black, which means I can't easily tell if they are engaged or not since when they are open the lens opening is also black. I have to shine a light on it to see if they are engaged. If they had made the blades red or yellow or white then it would be a lot easier to verify that they are closed.

I have a lot of USB cameras and this is among the best I have. The 4k frames are impressive compared to my 2k webcams and the high dynamic range (HDR) capability makes visibility on a nighttime city street excellent. I like the software controls on this over those on a EMEET C950 I bought at the same time (to compare). The C950 is pretty good but this model gives you better control of the camera when shooting and I like that as an amateur photographer. Even comparing the S800 audio versus the C950 ,the S800 is less noisy with better sensitivity as far as I can tell. Although the zoom is digital it zoom is very good compared to zoom on other webcams. It has a tripod socket on the mount (my C950 doesn't), I have four webcams in constant use and prefer the more secure tripod mount this has. It's hard to argue that if it truly has the Sony 1/2" sensor then that's a well respected industry standard so it only needs a decent lens and the S800 seems pretty good to me. Focus quality is good. The long barrel shape is probably a side-effect of using a large size sensor, which requires a longer distance between lens and sensor (whereas a phone camera has a tiny sensor so the lens can be a few mm from the sensor) so the shape being a little unusual for a webcam is arguably an advantage. I have now bought six S800's and replaced all my 2k cameras with them. If I had to make a complaint it's probably not EMEET's fault but I experience stalls and other performance related problems when I have two 4k cameras on the same USB 3 bus and find they work better when they are each connected to a different USB bus on my PCs. I had one that stopped working entirely showing a flickering static image but when I moved it to another computer and coincidentally used another USB-C cable I found it worked fine so probably the originally supplied USB-C cable failed. They get warm when used, sometimes even hot and I use them in windows facing the sun in some cases. I put kitchen foil around the barrel of the camera but not tightly in order to reduce heating from sunlight adding to the normal heat. I compared the audio output of a Logitech HD615 webcam output (older 1080p@30fps, single microphone with noise reduction mono audio) with this EMEET S800 (4k@30fps, 1080p@60fps, two microphones with noise reduction, stereo audio). Looking at the audio spectrum the Logitech has a lot of audio noise that shows up in the ultra-low frequency range (infrasound) whereas this EMEET camera has barely any readable signal in the same range. Both cameras probably don't have microphones capable of detecting infrasound so it's probably electrical noise on the Logitech C615 that isn't seen in this EMEET S800. The audio spectrum on the EMEET S800 looks very nice over time such that it's easier to the EMEET S800 audio output for voice detection than the Logitech C615 audio output.

So let me start by saying it wasn't easy to have this 600 4K webcam get online with any other other online sources meaning I couldn't connect to certain Tick Tock or a Facebook with it it only wanted to do on the computer only which was no good for me because you don't say this is the software to connect this together you need to download this software sure you download the stuff that you give but there's another software you need to download so that it would work I'm sorry there's a three-star review but that's how I feel I'm going to tell you the truth about something the camera now works well but you could not know if you don't find that hidden software that's in one of your site that you have to go to and look for that software and set it up so now I do have it working that's the only one I have about it other than that the camera works well very good camera quality is great need better instructions on how to install and download and make sure that it works up to date as far as the capabilities it's compatible compatibility with other stuff not so good picture quality is excellent Zoom capability it's okay value for the money not really that good

I only got my item last night, but so far it's been fantastic. The quality is way better than you can expect from something of this price point. The video behaves quite decently even when a dedicated light source isn't available and generally offers pretty decent clarity as well. The privacy cover is a nice added bonus, and the device sets up effortlessly. Definitely the definition of bang for your buck.

I’ve been using this webcam for almost 12 months now and I honestly can’t fault it. It’s well designed, reliable and performs exactly as expected for video calls and streaming. The camera mounts securely on top of my monitor, with a clever design that allows it to sit flush and hug the screen without slipping or wobbling. It feels stable and unobtrusive, which is ideal for day-to-day use. A standout feature is the built-in privacy cover—a physical lens flap you can close when not in use. This is a must-have in today’s digital environment and offers peace of mind in the unlikely event your system is ever compromised. When closed, you’re completely protected from any unauthorised access to your webcam feed. It connects via USB-A to USB-C, while it does come with a cable (I believe around 1m long), I opted to purchase a 2m extension with a right-angle USB-C plug. The angled plug was important to me, as it allows the cable to sit neatly without jutting out from the back of the camera—especially helpful for keeping things tidy and adjusting placement when your PC isn’t close to your monitor. As for performance, the image quality is excellent for a webcam, especially considering the price. It delivers a sharp, vibrant picture with fast autofocus and smooth frame rates, particularly noticeable at 1080p @ 60fps. It’s absolutely up to the task for Zoom meetings, live streaming, or content creation. The built-in microphones were a pleasant surprise too. I had a separate desk mic on standby assuming the webcam mic would be subpar, but so far I haven’t needed it—the onboard mic does a great job and captures audio clearly with minimal background noise. All in all, I highly recommend this camera. Between the thoughtful design, impressive performance, and practical privacy features, it’s a well-rounded piece of kit that’s been a great addition to my setup. 5 stars without hesitation.
