Nice, bright, rechargeable LED flashlight
This bright rechargeable flashlight seems very handy, and a great way to save on having to buy batteries all the time. It is heavier than a regular flashlight, and it uses a special rechargeable 5000 mAh battery, which I note will be expensive to replace in the future, once it stops holding a charge. The flashlight comes with a wrist lanyard and a USB to USB-C charging cable. The flashlight itself has both a USB and a USB-C charging port. So I can charge this with the cables I already have lying around the house, and I can also charge it in my car. When you press the power button on the flashlight, an LED display will show you how much charge is left, and the LED display will flash when you’re charging the flashlight. Also, it came fresh out of the box with a 68% charge. Pressing the power button will rotate between modes of high light, medium, low, strobe, a continuous SOS flashing, and off. But you can turn it off in any mode by holding the power button for 3 seconds. The instruction booklet that came with the flashlight was a little lacking, and not written by a native English speaker, which led to a little confusion and “Wait, what?” at times. For example, there’s a picture of the flashlight smashing out a car window—in case of emergency, I assume. The instruction booklet called it an “Attack Head” and the text read: “Resistant to pressure and fail, highly wear-resistant Rescue through the window is not to block.” Now that’s a real WTF head-scratcher!Anyway, due to the lacking instructions, it took me a bit to figure out how to install the battery (it comes separately in the box), because when I unscrewed the cap on the bottom of the handle, there was some sort of plastic placeholder widget in the compartment where the battery is supposed to go, and the instruction booklet did NOT mention the plastic placeholder or indicate that you had to remove it before you could install the battery. On looking at the widget more closely, it’s a plastic holder with 3 springs inside a plastic sleeve. If you remove the holder from the sleeve, you’ll see “AAA” imprinted on it. I assume you can put three AAA rechargeable batteries in the holder, slip it back in the sleeve, and put it back in the battery compartment to power your flashlight if you can't get your hands on a big 5000 mAh battery. But NOWHERE in the instruction booklet does it mention the widget or what it’s good for.Anyway, I figured it out and the flashlight works very well. However the instruction booklet notes that it gets hot because of high lumen output, and recommends that you choose medium or low light when using it for a long time. But even medium output is brighter than the regular, non-rechargeable battery LED flashlight I already owned.

Very bright and sturdy, needs a mode button
Pros: very, very bright, zoom feature means the light beam can be narrowed or widened, rechargeable, very sturdy, appears to be well made, includes a wrist cord, and it shows the battery percentage numerically. The body of the flashlight can be lengthened an inch from about 7 1/4 to 8 1/4 inches by pulling on the handle.Product page: I’m not sure if this is mentioned on the product page, but the flashlight includes a removeable plastic insert that holds three AAA batteries for the battery compartment, in case one is somewhere without a USB charging option. It would be nice if the seller would specify this option is included and also provide information about whether this flashlight can break a car window under water.Cons: I deducted one star because there is only one button to control the light options, so to turn off the light one must go through the High Light, Medium Light, Low Light, Strobe, and SOS functions. If one is doing something that requires turning the light off and on constantly, like camping, this could be tedious, and the flashing lights are extremely bright. Flashing lights are a problem for some people’s eyes; I guess one could hold the flashlight against something and click 5 times to turn it off (from the High Light mode). This would be better with separate mode and power buttons.I wouldn’t store this in a vehicle as a “glovebox flashlight” with the lithium battery due to fire risk, but it should be fine with regular batteries installed. Overall, this is a great flashlight, but it needs a few tweaks on the buttons and product page.

Very bright light
Light is bright and adjustable from a beam down to a wide area by sliding the lens section up and down. Bright blue display of battery health from 0 to 100 percent when light is on. Also displays same percent but flashing when charging battery. Percent of charge is hard to see unless directly in front of display, which is easy when holding light, but not so easy when light is standing or laying on it's side while charging. Has all aluminum housing with O-rings at every connecting point to seal flashlight against dust and water. Comes with the LI rechargeable battery and a battery compartment plastic insert that holds 3 AAA batteries if you need to run disposable batteries for any reason. USB C port on flashlight to charge LI battery and comes with a USB C to A cable. Power charger not included. There is also a USB A port on the flashlight that can be used to charge your phone or power whatever you want. The LI battery is marked which end is plus and minus, but the flashlight has no + or - marks any where to tell you which way the battery goes in, and there is a spring at both ends of the tube that holds the battery. I put the battery in and no response from the light. Removed, flipped around and put back in, light works. No harm to light if battery is ever put in backwards. 😁 Positive side of battery goes towards bulb end of light, which is usually the normal orientation in flashlights. I marked the cap end that screws off for battery access by engraving 'NEG' and '-' on the outside of the cap end. Only other issue was sharp edge of battery compartment after removing cap. Looks like the rough and sharp, raw edges found after machining during manufacture. I used a flat edge to deburr the edges of the opening and it is fine now. I will not be the only one using this in my home, so it needs good instructions on battery placement and no ouchies waiting for whomever sticks their finger in the battery hole tube of a flashlight for some reason. Which I did, but just because the aluminum looked rough, not because I was bored. And lastly the modes of operation. High, medium, low, rapid flashing, then automatic flashing of SOS signal in Morse code. Hold button for three or more seconds at any time to turn off, no need to cycle through all the modes. I didn't see much difference in light level between high, medium or low, but I was inside and did not try it outside over a real long distance yet. It has that fast production and ship it quick made in China feel, but it works great. I will use it.
