We recently added a puppy to our family and walking her and our 7 year old dog together was not enjoyable. Our old double leash has a coupler that swivels and gives our dogs a decent amount of personal space, however, any time there is just a little bit of slack in the leash, one of the dogs gets tangled. When one of them stops to use the bathroom, I get tangled too. The other issue is that because the dogs are attached to each other, one is always getting yanked around by the other.I ordered this leash on a whim and am so glad I did! No more getting tangled and yanking eachother around! One of them can run slightly ahead and the other can stop to sniff without completely interrupting our walk. The design makes it so it’s much harder for their leashes to become twisted together too. All of the downsides to a retractable leash obviously apply: it is harder to rein the dogs in when you approach another walker. The buttons can be cumbersome. Managing 2 retractable leashes with one hand is going to take practice. The positives far out weigh the negatives though and the only time I can imagine using the old double leash again is when this one inevitably breaks and we have to wait for a new one in the mail.

I have two Golden Retievers that I walk at the same time. The younger one is a little wild and will cross over/under the other dog. Of course, this makes a tangled mess! I was so happy when I found this product, even though it is meant for smaller dogs. My one golden is 98 lbs and the other is 70 lbs. I was worried about the leash breaking. So far, so good. They don't really pull on the leash so I thought that this might have a chance of working. I'm so glad that I purchased it. This has made walking both of them so much easier! The leashes have two colors-neon green & neon orange. The leash itself looks like a child's toy BUT I can overlook this because of what it provides me. This is the best leash for walking two dogs at the same time!!! I do carry a spare leash, just in case this one breaks, but I haven't had to use it. I LOVE THIS LEASH!

Great quality! My 2 dogs pull and this leash holds them and locks tight. I have a 13lb shihtzu and a 22lb pug.I left one start because it still twists and I have to flip it around, but it's still easier than holding two separate leashes!

This is my fifth leash from this company in 14 months. This one lasted 2.5 months. That’s longer than the one with the flashlight. The flashlight one only lasts about 6 weeks. The flashlight is really bad too. I keep buying them because they are really the best option for walking two dogs at once.Update 2024-12-12 (down to one star):The first one broke at the lock feature. It would no longer stop one of the dogs. The second and third broke at the connection between the lead and the retractable line. So they are fragile... but they are the best option out there for walking two small dogs together. The design has a few things that I think could be improved upon, but I'm still about to buy another one. WIGZI, if you read this and have a warranty, I think I still have all three (saving for parts).I have now bought 14 wigzi leashes (two still operational). I wish they would give up their dual leash patent to someone who can actually manufacture a good leash. If you are set on these style of leashes, the LED one is much worse compared to the other dual leash option. I see they have a 2025 edition out now. Maybe it doesn't suck but I'm not holding my breath.If this were a car it would be high initial quality but no durability. I only walk my dogs 4-5 times a week (they have a dog door and yard and this is for recreation) but these things never last long.12 broken leashes in less than 3 years with other leashes tried in the mean time? pretty badI haven't tried their warranty because it wasn't worth the effort, but WIGZI, if you read this, I'm only like 10 miles from your home office. Fix this for me please! I'll come pickup the replacements and give you the trash I still have.See photo of how many of these crap leashes I've bought.

Best purchase ever! The hassle of walking two dogs 🐕 is gone. No tangling of leashes as they crisscross in front of me. The grip is so comfortable. And being retractable makes passing other dogs/owners or pedestrians while commuting the same path much easier to control my pups. I

This is incredible. I have a small dog and a medium dog and this leash does it all. I can lock the Aussie so she doesn’t drag us across the sidewalk. The Chiweenie appreciates it! They don’t get tangled. In a future version of this product, I think the leads could be slightly thicker so they don’t get intertwined as much, but for now, this is a miracle worker.

I just received mine and tried it twice. I have not yet experienced some of the other lock failures and snaps I read in other reviews, but I wanted to leave two comments, that perhaps Wigz will consider changing in their next model:1. The grip handle is too small. I have a medium size (male) hand, and it barely fits in the handle, top to bottom. Over a long walk, my hand starts to cramp a bit.2. More importantly, the fabric "lead" from the cable to the actual snap is too long!! When Im only walking one dog, the other lead hangs down almost to the road, and the snap swings and bangs up against my leg! Why is is so long? Doesnt need to be more than 6" or so.3. I agree with other comments; this lead really seems to be "light weight" for small dogs. I question 50 lbs. More like up to 35 lbs. No wonder others have had it fail at the lock, or snap the rope. Wigz needs to design a more heavy duty, larger one, with SHORTER leads between snap and the rope that comes out.
