Supports ultra wide monitors
Just arrived yesterday and I’m already very impressed. It does everything it says it would, plus one or two things it didn’t say it could! The switching is seamless, the elimination of window resizing, sharing of peripherals - including a bluetooth mouse that is now shared across all devices (connected to the unifying receiver plugged into the Dock). One thing the product description doesn’t tell you is that it will support an ultra wide monitor at 3440 x 1440.I was forced into buying a new hub after my old one died, and now I wish I’d had a 2 laptop hub a long time ago.Well done AV Access 👏

Really helps keep desk tidy and organised
Works perfectly, only small and helps manage lots of cables and makes the desk a lot tidier. Very easy to set up and use.

OP KVM
This KVM switch is a doorstop of an over powered KVM intended to act as a dual docking station. It works by taking video in through the USB C, then pumping out HDMI. It can power two medium powered laptops (up to 60W each) simultaneously, has 6 USB A slots, a further peripheral USB C in, and handles ethernet too. I'll be using this to switch between two laptops and to replace my existing KVM + double double docking station set up. It comes with a big brick adapter to power it. Unfortunately, one of my laptops runs at 140W itself so can't be powered from this beast, but it will still help declutter my desktop. Note a potential issue - you can't have both laptops use the ethernet at the same time, so be sure you're OK for this disconnection. All this said, my existing KVM was a tenth the price, so check this is the right solution for you. But if you are in need of a setup requiring: - 2 x docking stations - 2 x external monitors each - Power over USB C (up to 60W) This may be a worthwhile investment, being comparable in price to a single lower spec OEM docking station.

It just worked
This is a review for 4KSW21-DM KVM SwitchI needed the ability to switch everything between work and personal PC - two monitors (not chained, mixture of HDMI and Display Ports), camera, wireless Bluetooth headset, mouse and keyboard. Dam that's a lot of cables! Both of my PC's have a USB 3 port, checked before purchase. After finding space and tidying all those cables it really did just work.I am going to mention the unit itself because it looks and feels like a quality built device. I like that it is not all plastic and that all the ports are sensibly labelled. It came with a manual that I have not had to look at.I have USB keyboard plugged into the USB 1.1 socket as suggested. I have not changed the hotkey from TAB and can say that TAB + 1 / TAB + 2 works without issue and I have not had any issues with this interfering with either PC.There was a suggestion that this device interferes with wireless router. I have a BT HomeHub less than 1m away from the switch and so far have not experienced any issues.Personally the fact that the Jabra headset reconnects when switching was a big win, have had issues with this headset in past (MacBook) but it is so good I do not want to change it.All in all I am very pleased with this purchase.I have not used the device in USB mode, I have no need for that at the moment.I have not received any kickbacks for this review, though am not averse to receiving some after the fact :-). I purchased the unit after some research and hope this helps other people decide.

Disappointed
It doesn't work for dual wide monitors and ARM laptops. Refund requested.

Works perfectly as a KVM switch and a hub
This is an excellent product. I've searched a long time for something to allow me to 1) share keyboard, mouse, etc. between work and home laptops, 2) add connectivity for each with their limited USB-C connecters and 3) to enable push button switching from one machine to the other. This product does all 3 out the box and my desk is now the cleanest it has even been! Great stuff.

Not Really Mac OS Compatible
Seems like a decent bit of kit of the face of it but I don't think it is made clear enough that it does not work properly with a MacBook Pro in that if you plug in the USB C it will only mirror the two displays not show them as two separate displays. The only way to do this I think will be with an additional HDMI splitter which is not ideal. If you are wanting to use with apple then you may be better waiting until they release a product they are developing that does work with Mac OS.

Wow.
I have plenty of switchboards, but this may be one of the ones up there for me. You're allowed to connect various things to it such as your keyboard, monitor, mouse etc, and you can easily switch between anything you want. It's not just got connection to external devices, it also has an ethernet port, which comes very handy. The switching between elements is so smooth, it doesn't lag, doesn't stop, it just looks slick when it happens. You also have 4K UHD video so it's super clear and you can transmit data up to 5Gbp/s, which is super fast. One of the amazing things this can do is it can keep up with gamers, the resolution is perfect, the speed is perfect, it's everything you need.
