Must have if you love Elden Ring

This is a terrific book if you're really into Elden Ring. The packaging is up to Amazon's usual appalling standard. Just a thin cardboard wrap which gives no protection whatsoever. Corner crush damage. Come on Amazon, you need to have better packaging for heavy items like this.

Given as a christmas present to go with a collection.

Obviously the book itself is excellent but the condition it arrived in isn't.....5 stars for the actual book. 1 star for the condition and packaging of the item.

La copertina rigida è robusta, la rilegatura solida e la carta spessa e patinata è di altissima qualità, perfetta per esaltare le immagini, le mappe e i testi. È un volume pensato per durare nel tempo e per essere esposto con orgoglio nella propria libreria accanto ai primi due volumi. Completezza e dettaglio maniacale: Il livello di approfondimento è sbalorditivo. Ogni singolo anfratto del Regno dell'Ombra è mappato con precisione, ogni nuovo nemico è analizzato con statistiche, strategie e punti deboli, ogni pezzo di equipaggiamento è catalogato e ogni nuova, intricata quest degli NPC è spiegata passo passo. È la risorsa più completa e affidabile che si possa desiderare per sviscerare al 100% l'espansione. Impaginazione, design e mappe esclusive: L'impaginazione è superba. Le informazioni sono presentate in modo chiaro, elegante e incredibilmente intuitivo. Le mappe esclusive, disegnate appositamente per la guida, sono un'opera d'arte, molto più dettagliate e leggibili di quella in-game, e da sole valgono quasi il prezzo del libro. Contenuti extra di grande pregio: La galleria finale con i concept art a tutta pagina è meravigliosa, e l'enorme poster della mappa del Regno dell'Ombra, con tutti i luoghi e i punti di grazia segnati, è la ciliegina sulla torta per ogni fan e collezionista. CONTRO (o meglio, aspetti da considerare): Non è una guida "da battaglia": Questo non è un libretto da tenere sulle ginocchia mentre si gioca. È un tomo pesante e prezioso. È più un'enciclopedia da consultare con calma per pianificare le proprie esplorazioni o per approfondire dopo aver giocato, per scoprire tutti i segreti che inevitabilmente si sono persi per strada. Lingua inglese: Questa edizione è in lingua inglese, perfetta per chi non ha problemi con la lingua o preferisce la terminologia originale del gioco. Conclusione: La guida ufficiale di "Shadow of the Erdtree" di Future Press è molto più di una semplice guida strategica. I have always wanted to get ahold of one of these Future Press guides for myself. I couldn’t resist getting this one once I saw it go on sale for about $36. I have been slowly reading through it, and it is chocked full of so much information. I have already beat Shadow of the Erdtree multiple times, so I don’t need this guide as much as I just wanted it. I am happy to report that it’s a well written guide with most information included. Considering I’ve beaten the game numerous times, I can say that this guide book would be very helpful to someone who is brand new to the game. It is also a must-have for huge Elden Ring fans like myself. The amount of time and energy put into this book is commendable. The artwork is incredible and vibrantly detailed. The pages feel nice in my hands. They are thick enough to where it feels like it can handle a little wear, but not too thick either. The map of the Realm of Shadow is very cool too. It comes separate, so you could hang it as a poster if you’d like. One side of the map is unlabeled, and the other side is labeled with all points of interest. Every little piece about this guide book is extremely well thought out and detailed. I even enjoy that they added a section that offers some new build ideas for SotE, and the small chapter of concept art. There are some things included that even veteran players like myself can find new and interesting. I highly recommend this to any Elden Ring fans. Especially get it while it’s still on sale. Once these books sell out , people try to resell them for exorbitant prices. Just look at the first two volumes of the Elden Ring guide. They are all over resale sites for at least over $100, if not a few hundred dollars. Get the third and final volume while still can for a reasonable price. True Elden Ring fans won’t regret it. I also want to note that I didn’t experience any issues with shipping. I’ve seen many people complain that their books came damaged from shipping, and that is completely on Amazon anyway for not packaging books securely. I had no issues though, and mine came in a proper box meant for shipping books. It showed up on my steps in the box, wrapped in plastic wrap stil, and completely protected and in mint condition.
