Topscan Pro Smart Diagnostic Tool Bluetooth OBD2 Diagnostic Advanced Reader IMMO Capable

I was tempted to drop it down to 4 stars due to the redundancy of scanning systems that don't apply to my specific car and this causes diagnostics to take awhile but the fact it is able to diagnose a wide number of issues and clear them without issue, diagnosed SRS warning (Centre Seatbelt pretensioner over tension) and ABS/VSA on a 2004 Honda FRV. On my Volvo 2009 XC90 is was able to diagnose oil level sensor, intake manifold, cam position sensor and some others that I am unable to remember. It is able to run a number of service functions on both cars from brake bleeding and actuation tests. It punches well above it's £100 cost. I was able to diagnose and replac thee oil level sensor and clear DTCs and fix all related faults my Volvo due to this handy little tool. The tool is a fair bit slower than a professional snapon or my friends ICARSOFT CR MAX (£350) but given the price differences this is basically stealing. I can always if needed buy another subscription if I ever need a reliable diagnosis on my car again. Easily recommend for the occasional user needing something half decent.

This has been a fantastic purchase. I'm now into my 2nd year with it, and have recently renewed the subscription (really easy through the app and mall, using PayPal for the foreign transaction to avoid bank charges). It will outperform many scanners being used by garages. The usability is slightly less, being aimed at the occasional user, but poor workers blame their tools, and I've been able to pull out the vital diagnostics information I've needed to fix some complex faults with this that I couldn't have done without it, or an expensive commercial rated system. You will need to understand automotive diagnostics to utilise this tool to it's full performance capabilities, it's not a magic solution for the untrained casual DIYer, but it's an extremely cost effective way for someone that isn't using a scanner every day to perform the tasks they need to. I also bought the T-Dart system for use with this, and that has been fantastic too, even allowing me to diagnose someones defective eBay purchased key fob system for their Peugeot. I highly recommend this, even to professionals as a spare/backup system to a full size scanner system.

Wouldn’t work on my Porsche 911. So returned it. It may well be very good on other makes. Quality is good and it’s easy to use. It didn’t help me though.

Really powerful piece of kit. To get the best out of it takes a bit of effort to learn. But I’m very happy with it.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I chosen this product after a recommendation from a friend who has one , after using their device to clear some faults that my own two OBD two readers didn’t even pick up the codes this one did and surprisingly goes into more debt from what I actually thought I’d be capable of absolutely brilliant piece of kit has advantages of a bi directional control also After a year there is a subscription to pay but the price of a subscription I would say is more of an acceptable and will definitely renew it would recommend this to anybody looking for a more capable system than your regular code reader as this one will let you access Dealer level diagnostics

I thought this come with 1 year full access with the purchase but unfortunately my free 12 months had seem to run out after 10 months???

When it works it's great but sometimes, especially those few times when it really matters, it won't. You will be there in your car screaming blue Monday' fiddling with it and you can try just about anything and 'nada' and then out of the blue it works again? It really is a love hate relationship with these.

Very good, but no tutorial for important functions for non mechanic users like cheking for tampered mileage, generak important readings to check, etc
