Kraft Paper Tape K49 - Self Adhesive Brown Frame Backing Tape Packing Tape with Oxidation Resistance for Picture Framing, Masking, Sealing and Packaging Use - 1/2inch Wide 180FT Long

I bought this for my Grandson's school project. It worked great for what we used it for.

What can you say about tape? It sticks where I put it and doesn’t slip when the weather gets hot. Using this to create watercolor cards and it keeps the artwork where I want it on the card background.

The Kraft Paper Tape is a versatile and reliable self-adhesive tape that serves multiple purposes, including picture framing, masking, sealing, and packaging.Highlights:As a tape for securing the cardboard back of a picture frame to the frame, it does its job well. However, I didn't order it for that purpose. As a woodworker, I love these brown self-adhesive tapes for their strength, as they allow me to clamp and secure miter corners during the gluing process. It's kind of like using masking tape, but this tape is supposed to be even stronger.So far, it has performed well in my projects. The adhesive power has been impressive, and it has helped me achieve clean, tight miter joints without the need for additional clamping. I appreciate its durability and how it holds up under tension.I will revisit this review if, down the road, the tape loses its adhesive power, as tapes of lower quality sometimes do. For now, I am pleased with its performance and find it a valuable addition to my woodworking supplies.

Easier than using white glue (which is what I did years ago to replace worn and tattered backing from family photos and artworks.I have several frames with old, curling dried tape that need replacing and this tape is quicker and easier. I chose 1/2" for the smaller frames. It goes on easily. The adhesive seems okay and is advertised as residue-free and removable (good if you goof up or plan to replace the frame later), and will hopefully last a number of years. The kraft-paper color is fine for the backs of frames, blends in better than white or black for most simple frames which generally have cardboard backing.This could also be used in scrapbooks and altered art projects.It's about 4 cents per foot which is reasonable for my needs. 180 feet is long enough for my current project.

This Kraft paper tape is easy to write on for labeling. It is thick, easy to tear off by hand or cut, has a sticky backing that seals down completely to the edges and sticks well. It is repositionable and leaves no residue on the surface. After about 3 times of repositioning on paper it began to lift tiny amounts of paper from the surface onto the tape. It would work well for sealing the back of a picture frame, for labeling or crafting.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for some tape that I could secure the back of my frames, I like to frame my puzzles, so when I found this brown craft paper tape, I knew I needed to try it. This tape is excellent, it was easy to put on the back and I didn't have to do multiple layers of the tape to make sure the frame is secure on the back. I was a little worried that the brown tape wouldn't look right on the back of my black frames but after sealing the back I was pleasantly impressed on how secure, nice and smooth the tape made the back

I ordered this tape to use in my art journals. The paper texture makes it great to stamp on or add ink to. With all the different widths that are available it was hard to choose, but I’m very happy with the size I ordered and it will look great in my art journal, painted and scuffed and stamped and torn. A great find!

I bought this to put paper backing on a picture I was framing. It was impossible to separate the backing from the glue, after many attempts, making it worthless. I previously worked in a custom framing shop and have used this type of product many times so I am qualified to say that this is unusable. I attempted to return this tape but the nearest UPS store is one hour away and there was a charge for other return labels. Big waste of money.
