This product is great actually. I got it to replace the display for a 2013 bmw 328i and it works great! Navigation, the original car display options, music - it’s nice. I did have an issue with the audio not working but the housing cable wasn’t all the way. Also, at first the original cars info wasn’t showing on the new display.. to solve for that - change the screen size down 1 and it should work.

The best aftermarket head unit I have used for my F30. It's Linux based which means it's lightweight so it boots quickly and has better touch response. It gives you the option to choose BMWs factory Bluetooth in which sound quality is superior, compared to the AUX port. Best of all, customer service is top notch. I found there to be an issue with the parking distance control screen not popping up when the button was pressed. Communicated with support and found the device was needing the latest firmware. Was given instructions and it solved the issue. Would highly recommend this product.

I got the screen delivered today but I notice it’s bigger than the stock one on my bmw 2015 320i; would it still fit good?

Have tried the Tablet version of this to get Android auto and sound quality was a deal breaker for me. Tablet version has the added benefit of essentially being a tablet so can add apps and watch movies via Netflix etc however sound has to run through AUX and takes a massive dive. Not a deal breaker for everyone but I am fussy about my audio. Linux version is running as a basic wireless Android auto device in my F31 and is seamless. All sound for media/calls etc can run through OEM bluetooth so sound quality does not take a hit. Also OEM microphone used for calls so clarity of calls also maintained. Loads up and is in Android auto mode within 15 seconds, nice screen upgrade and very happy with this unit. Also quite simple to install, just follow the video instructions that come with the unit.

I had tried another model of an aftermarket display from the same company (PEMP Ultra-Thin 12.3" for BMW 3 Series F30 NBT), which did not work with my car, and decided to try this model before having completely given up on the idea of upgrading my stock display. This model was much better than the 12.3" model for my early 2015 car, in that unlike the other model, the original BMW menus, etc. worked flawlessly out of the box both as a touchscreen and with the car's original knobs, whereas the Android Auto functionality including Bluetooth audio and calls worked well in both models. The reason I ended up uninstalling this model in the end and returning it was that my car's original reverse camera did not work with it, no matter what setting I tried, and that is an essential feature that I was not OK losing in the process of upgrading the screen. If both the BMW menus and rear backup camera happen to work well in your car, this is probably the screen to buy because the interface is snappy and unlike the larger 12.3 inch display, this model blends much better with the original aesthetic of the car.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt like I had to write one, this product is by far one of the most properly displayed items, they don’t lie to you the item is as they describe, the packaging is Perfect. Ensuring that you’re product isn’t damaged. And they’re delivery is on point, not only that, but they’re installation. Video makes it super efficient and easy to get it done. If you’re having doubts about purchasing the product, don’t you won’t regret it.

I installed this on a 2014 BMW 328i whose screen went bad. I was a little worried but it has worked great for the 6 months I’ve had it. It has a touch screen which the original screen was not. The car controls all work with it and the CarPlay has been working great. You can also use the car’s original BMW interface.
