OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS , THIS BOOK IS A-DO-RA-BLE 😭 Remember how we grew up listening to fairytales about princesses and their Prince Charmings? Or the Beast and his Beauty? 😉 As an adult I’d say somewhere along the way, I traded glass slippers for Evie and her evil overlord. We have a broody, grumpy, terrible at feeling and exhibiting normal human emotions (Tatiana’s words, not mine), but only soft for her Evil Overload nicknamed “The Villain”. And then we have the sunshiny, witty & “Stop getting attached to your boss” Evie Sage who’s his assistant. 💼🌞 Trust me when I say this, the “he’s DOWN BAD” trope in here is TOP TIER. 😩🙌 The found family is chaotic AF, but I would still sell my soul if it meant I could be part of them.🥰 There’s: 🥐 An ogre in the kitchen who makes pastries 💖 A healer who somehow always has one accessory in pink 🐉 A dragon trainer who’s a shameless flirt and a dragon (wait till you hear what they named him) 📋 An uptight, rule-following Humans and Magical Creatures Resource Manager 📝 A 10-year-old working on her new novel called [Insert The Villain’s Name] and the Lost Princess.👸 And then there’s Kingsley — a frog with a crown and sign boards. 🐸👑 He’s the cutest little munchkin ever 😍 My heart is so freaking happy 😭💕 I love these characters SO MUCH. You’re gonna fall in love with The Villain and Evie from page one. The slow burn, the banter, the humor, the little things — everything is so wholesome and done so freaking well. ✨🔥 Highly, highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun time with some of the most loveable characters you’ll ever meet. 💫
