Visually a lovely book but content was disappointing as I had hoped for mainly quilt designs ,as the title suggests, and there were rather too many simple ideas more suited to general craft ideas including cushion covers made put of old shirts, and these were not really quilt projects.

Lots of lovely projects. Plenty of diagrams ans pictures to help you complete the projects. Would recommend this book for anyone fron a beginner to the average sewing expert

A really lovely book. It is well written with good detail, very interesting designs which are easily achievable. If you are making for yourself or for gifts the contents are comprehensive. Ideas about recycling etc are valuable.

Fortunately I looked at this book in the library before buying - it is fine as a general quilting and craft book but I cannot see anything Scandinavian about it. There are traditional style quilts using fabrics which are identical to those in any American quilting book. I had hoped to see use of Scandinavian fabrics (available in many online shops using Scandinvian designs) and motifs which are recognisable from the Northern European culture and nature.If you already own some quilting books I do not think you would find this useful at all.
