Absolutely not! Mine came with a warning sticker... " No Snowboarding".

Q: Some Reviews & Questiins with term "Velcro" for THIS watch, But Description says BUCKLE- WHAT is Correct, please?

Watch strap (on watch I had) goes thru a "plastic" ring that holds the strap and allows it to be adjusted by the Velcro fastener that is on the strap. It allows a you to adjust the strap with more variation than just a standard buckle. -Hope this helps
