Good album but not their best...
Like most fans I have been listening to ROXETTE for over 30 years now...This album may be their last but it ends their long career on a high note...Here is my review of GOOD KARMA song by song: I will give that album 8/10 as I found it to have 9 great songs but 2 weak songs...1. Why don't cha?: amazing song to start their 10th album: as always ROXETTE starts every of their opus with a great pop song: no disappointment with that one either: a pity that song is only 2.35 minutes : I will give it a 9/102. It just happens: My FAVORITE single of the album: a power ballad as we get used to with Marie: her voice with Per blend well on that single even though usually only Marie provides her voice on a ballad ...I love the video too: gives me shiver all the time when I watch it....10/103. Good karma: good song , not a best of theirs but really like it...the chorus is very catchy too: 8/104. This one: another pop song well sung by Marie...Roxette always have some of the best catchy tunes when it comes to pop record: 8/105. You make it sound so simple: Definitely 1 of my favourite song of the album: can't stop listening to it: so catchy: just a bit short: love Per as the lead: 10/106. From a distance: After It just happens: the other song I keep listening non stop every day!! My favourite songs from Roxette have always been with Marie as the lead on the vocals.....This song is 1 of their best and I wish they would have released it as a single instead of Why don't you bring me flowers!! 10/107. Some other summer: SO SO good: great choice to release it as a 2nd single and so glad they remixed it : more updated and great chorus: definitely a Summer song...like everybody else: heard that song before the release of GOOD KARMA...check out the video too: you will love it: 9/108. Why don't you bring me flowers: will only give it a 6/10 as for me: after April clouds is the only song that I skip when I listen the album: bad choice for me to have released it as a 3rd single: 1 of their weakest song in ages...makes me remember of THE FIRST GIRL ON THE MOON on CRASH BOOM BANG album....Definitely a "filler" on the album...6/109. You can't do this to me anymore: FANTASTIC: The music is too notch as well as the chorus: so catchy: 1 of my favourite of the album...9/1010. BPM: This lovely song should have ended on high note this album: 10 songs ( like most albums nowadays have) will have been perfect...short, for sure but ROXETTE always like to end their album with a slow song... 9/1011. April clouds: as just mentioned, ROXETTE always ends their album with a slow song: usually a great one ; apart from the single on CHARM SCHOOL but this song with VULNERABLE as for me their 2 weakest songs....Of course I love ROXETTE but this song is for me TOO BORING...not a good choice to end a good album....will only give it a 5/10...Overall, Of course and as expected GOOD KARMA is a good album with some very catchy songs but in my opinion: it is their weakest ....Don't get me wrong....songs like IT JUST HAPPENS and FROM A DISTANCE are definitely 2 of the best songs they ever released...But I get used to have at least 13 or 14 songs on their previous releases...So after waiting for over 4 years for their new release...I am a bit disappointed...BUT GLAD I BOUGHT "GOOD KARMA" as it is still a GOOD ALBUM.....

Punchy pop with all the Roxette trademarks you'd expect, given a slightly newer pop sheen. Both of them in fine voice.
Bought as an Xmas gift for a mate, takes a few listens to get used to the softer pop sound (even more so than the excellent Charm School), but I really like this now! Yes, a lot of the backing vocals are not Marie, but she's definitely there when needed, and overall this album has some rocky Roxette, some synthy Roxette and a couple of staple-ballad Roxette! What's not to like?Never been a huge fan but this has all the right elements, and flows really well as an album - just a pity its so short!

Great new sound
Great album. There are himts of the style from Tourism and Crash Boom Bang on here. I very much liked the last album and the concert material that followed. This sound is Roxette. I first starting listening to them in late 80's and knowing how old both performers are, this is fresh and not disappointing at all. It may not garner the interest of younger listeners who follow reality trash on the tv but, for Roxette fans, this is a must. Try it - you will like it.

Very Good Karma
A surprising return from my second favourite Swedes is Good Karma. All the sounds you expect from Roxette are here with just a little bit of 21st century tech thrown in the mix. It includes two new bond fide Roxette classics (in my humble opinion). "From A Distance" and the most recent release, "Some Other Summer". If you're a fan of 80's/90's Rox this latest cd is perfect so don't hesitate to add this fine album of songs to your collection.

Beautiful return for Roxette
I would give this album 5 stars alone just for 'From a distance' but the rest of the songs are top class as well. Roxette could have just returned with an album in their usual style but Per and Marie have both stretched themselves to give the fans something a bit different and it works so well. Marie hasn't sounded this good since Have a nice day and it is brilliant to hear her singing such beautiful songs. From a distance is my fave but Just Happens, Good Karma and Some other Summer are close behind! Great to have them back!
