Looks amazing and easy to install - Wall mount for iPad Air 2
I installed this yesterday so that I could have a dedicated iPad for my HomeKit devices. Overall, it was very simple to do. Items needed for installation: - drill/electric screwdriver - hammer - level Installation basically consisted of putting four drywall anchors in the wall. Note that you do need a power supply that sits flat and under the frame. I had a recessed outlet over which I placed this mount. I used my original apple cable for charging, and it fits perfectly in the notch designed for the charging port. Pros: - Aesthetics are very good. - It sits tight to the wall. - The quality of the plastic is very high. - Sits perfectly over the recessed outlet I purchased on amazing (review in my profile) - Cover snaps off easily if you need to remove the iPad Cons: - Expensive, but I figure I’m going to look at it all the time so it might as well invest in a quality product If you are setting up a home automation system and you are looking for a way to mount an old iPad, this is a great product.

Worked perfectly for my application.
I'm using this mount to put an iPad in my kitchen as an A/V controller and it works like a charm. It's precisely built and the iPad doesn't move around at all even when you're tapping on the screen aggressively. The finish is nice and understated, far more suitable for home use than one of those bulky armored kiosk boxes. One thing to keep in mind: the gap between the back of the tablet and the wall is only about an 1/8" (for argument's sake, I didn't actually measure) so when I tried to mount it over the recessed outlet that was already on the wall the face plate was too thick and wouldn't allow the tablet to seat. I didn't want to space the mount out so I had to rethink the approach on how to power the device since I wasn't using one of their PoE boxes. No big deal though. Good product, a little pricey for what it is but you'll have that when you're looking for a low-volume niche product.

Nice
Fits perfectly and creates a fresh clean look for tablet mounting to a wall. A bit pricey for just plastic and I would definitely buy more if it was a bit cheaper. Overall a nice quality product.

Dose the job
Wanting something that was nice and sleek and easy to access in case I ever needed to repair or replace there’s quick mountain tabs on the front cover that allow you to access the tablet very quickly also, it actually looks nice. Highly recommend.

Great product, at a cost.
It’s a solid piece, but wish is wasn’t $125! As another reviewer said, won’t take off any rating for that. I knew what I elected to pay. My iPad (5th gen) fit perfectly in it, as it will be our home security monitor. There is very little room for the power cable and the wall and this was my biggest obstacle.hHow to have the cabling as best as possible. This on the wall solution is about as future proof as you can get than if going with an in wall option. You never know if the tablets will change, forcing you to do lots of modifying to your wall if you cut a huge gaping hole in it for an in wall mount.

Cable management :(... Overall :|
First off- once done, it looks good on the wall and using the snap closures for the cover is a smart idea... Second- the cable management is poor. I had to use 3 different lighting cables to get it to fit right. turns out- the braided right angle cables do not fit well at all (money spent and lost on new right angle cables- nonreturnable as I tried to modify them to work in the box). In the end, I ended up using a standard Apple cable as it was just thin enough to fit. However, the cable is bent 180 degrees at the base- so it may not last all that long. This is a serious issue the manufacturer needs to work on. They just need to remove some of the plastic behind the cable area.

Better than expected
This mount appears to be constructed very well. It is made in the USA which is nice to see for something one would expect to be sourced in China where quality usually comes second to low cost. It came hand wrapped in paper which I found different but also sort of personal... if that makes sense. It's definitely not cheap in terms of price or quality. I would imagine there is quite a bit of markup although I'm sure they have to make a lot of prototypes for various brands and models and need to recoup the R&D. Regardless, it was justifiable for me. The snap cover is clever and seems very secure however I'm curious to know why they chose not to use magnets which would be more tech forward than snaps you see on blue jeans... Again, doesn't bother me aside from just my curiosity. One observation I think is worth noting for the "particular buyer", which is the shade of white is really more of a dove color than pure white and I see a noticeable difference having it near Lutron Decora faceplates on my outlets and switches. The white model iPad itself is also more "white" than this mount. I make mention of this only because this is going to be installed close by some Lutron Caseta switches which are gloss non textured faceplate surfaces, which is common for most all decora style faceplates. This mount definitely stands out from those and is also textured. Also fear that since this will Be touched a lot that the texture may attract finger oils and dirt. nothing the magic eraser couldn’t handle. Regardless, I did my homework and still think this is the best option.

Looks great. Easy install.
The frame is well designed and easy to install. The face snaps in place, but it would be a lot more convenient is those attachment points were magnets. The thing is expensive, but there aren’t any alternatives that make installation look as nice as this one.
