These seem to hold very well and applied easily. If installed correctly, it would take a very strong yank to have it fall off, with perhaps both hands. Personally, I would likely think grabbing it while pushing on it (if possible) would be better than pulling on it as force would be being applied against it rather than away from it, just in case. However, anything is better than nothing, and hopefully it will stay intact either way should the need arise. Since its mounted on a wall, a persons balance would help keep them from falling backwards by pushing in it. It seems to be very well constructed and a good quality product.

Working great so far. Placed the item a week ago and it works well for my spouse! Hopefully it will continue to stay stable and fixed in place. Great tool for that extra help needed in keeping your balance.

Came back into the shower and found the product on the shower floor. The unit came apart. I tried to put it back together but the clear plastic part that attaches to the knob broke off. I don't see anyway to contact the seller so I am just going to write a bad review. I bought it in April 2025, one month ago.

Easy to set up and sturdy support. Take care to ensure the entire suction cup area is on a solid, flat surface (ie no tile grout or indent lines).I purchased 2 sets of different lengths to be able to provide support from different angles. One of the spares will come with me when traveling.

The bath bar is a good deal. After knee replacement surgery, I wanted to work my way into being as independent as possible. This bar enables me to get into and out of the tub safely and confidently. However, be aware. The shower water can loosen the bar every once in awhile. So check it for its connectedness.

Purchased two of the 16” grab bars to install on the walls of an acrylic shower enclosure. They are easy to install, but it requires a really strong push to lock down the clips. I cushioned the clips with a towel to prevent ‘dents’ on the palm of my hand. They adhere very strongly. They have been up for about a month and are still very secure. Have now ordered a 12” bar.
