Haiku Organic Tea, Japanese Sencha Green, 16 Teabags (Pack of 6)

By far the best-tasting green tea i've had. Many are weak tasting, like little more than water. This has an undeniable flavor. Even long steeping time (my preference) doesn't bring out as much bitterness as other green teas.As if the flavor weren't enough to give this 5 stars, it's organic, cultivated by hand, not irradiated, and prepared according to traditional Japanese methods. I'll spare all the details here, but if you will please buy some and read the insides of the box, you'll be just as hooked as i am.Oh, and the tea bag paper is unbleached too. This just keeps getting better! (Why on earth bleach a tea bag, anyway?!) Did i mention the price is a steal too, especially for an imported organic product?I don't even drink coffee every morning anymore, if you can believe that. This is a pleasing, comforting hot beverage, and my kidneys are thanking me for the reduced caffeine intake.

You have probably landed on this product because you are like me and are just learning about tea and have discovered that supermarket brands are inferior to many other products. My overall suggestion is to keep looking. This product IS an improved version of the bagged tea with a richer taste and darker color than say the popular stash premium green but the coveted ECGC polyphenol is greatly reduced in all bagged versions and if its the health benefits you are looking for then go with loose-leaf; its cheaper and more accessible now than ever. Although price for this quality bagged tea is undeniable.

I have a cup of Haiku organic sencha tea every morning. Tastes great helps keep me healthy.

I love authentic Japanese green tea. For me, nothing else compares. Before buying this product I was frustrated that nowhere could I find tea that equaled what they served the last time I flew Japan Airlines. In fact, on that trip I got one of the flight attendants to write down the name of their tea. Couldn't find it in supermarkets, or Asian markets. I tried many other Japanese teas, price was no object and yet disappointment continued to reign supreme. Then I discovered Haiku! Thanks again, Amazon. This tea is the real deal. I drink a couple cups a day.

When I bought this tea I was looking for a tea to help with my digestion....when I drink the tea it gives me a little palpitation

delicate flavor with only a hint of typical green tea bitterness, but strong enough to brew a tasty iced tea. Rather than boil the water for iced tea, I fill a glass quart jar with cold filtered water, add 4 of thse bags and allow it to sit overnight in the fridge. I like the organic feature, since I consume a quart a day. Colas(including diet versions) and powdered sugary drinks are empty calories with many health drawbacks. Iced or hot green tea does the body good, rather than harm.

I'm enjoying this tea. The taste is pleasing, and I don't find it bitter. I make a cup of tea when I'm thirsty, instead of grabbing a glass of water. That way I'm getting antioxidants, while I'm satisfying my thirst. I appreciate the fact that this tea is organic. I enjoy using various organic green teas, since each one has a different taste.

I have been drinking this tea for a good 20 years. I have tried many other brands and continue to since I cant always find Haiku tea in my area, but I think it is the best green tea I have found. I can even use each tea bag two times if I store it in a container in the fridge.
