Flawless upon opening.
Surprisingly happy with this. Sharp out of the box, symmetrical, smooth action, and sturdy.Initial concern of the etching being curved and closer to the edge side instead of flat and centered (as pictured in listing). Forums mention that this was done with this particular batch, so the pictures on the listing are probably outdated.Overall, good quality control on a great product, unless I was just lucky or have low expectations.

Typical Spyderco
Knife is sharp as a razer, super solid feeling, well made. As typical of Spyderco knives, action is pretty crap out of the box. Requires a pretty good amount of break in to get smooth. I just don't understand why they don't move to bearing cages (other than the smock). Jimping on this knife on the other hand is PURE PERFECTION! When the blade is deployed, the confidence of your grip is total with this jimping. Whatever the lines per inch is, it grabs your skin hard without being irritating at all. Like I said before PERFECT!

I love this knife!!!
I own a bunch of different knives but I love my Spyderco’s the most. Overbuilt and with the Cruwear steel this one will be with me forever.

Great knife
Like all Spyderco knives this one is superb. I much prefer this lock to the liner lock. The blade stays sharp under the heaviest use and sharpens easy with a diamond hone. Love it!
