This is a nice little radio. Bought it pretty much like everyone else…….JIC…….the SHTF. Reception is really good. I actually was quite surprised at how many Short Way channels it receives. AM and FM as well as the NOAA weather channel all come in clear also and the sound is very good. When it arrived the internal battery was dead so I thought it would be a good time to test to see how long the radio would function after about 5 minutes of hand cranking and was not impressed. Nothing……cranked away for a solid 5 minutes and the display would not even light up let alone hear any radio so I’m guessing this is just a gimmick and really doesn’t do anything. The instructions do say to fully charge the battery with the supplied USB cable for first time use but I really don’t see what difference that would make. A dead battery is a dead battery and if cranking the hand crank doesn’t give you some sort of charge after 5 minutes of cranking than what good is it. Knowing this now I certainly won’t rely on it and will keep a good supply of 3D batteries. This was the reason for the 4 star rating. Overall for 25$ it’s a pretty good purchase.

This is an amazing light and radio at the same timeWas not expecting that to work but it did the light is very clear and clean if you know what I mean and the radio works. Guys

Great was as advertised

It will be your most cherished item, other than water and food, while surviving a hurricane. It has a way to recharge your phone, perhaps the most important feature. Yes the hand crank actually recharges the flashlight so you can recharge your phone. It has a light which you will praise when you have no electric power. Speaking of no electric power, when you have no internet or cable the radio is very important to keep up to date with the outside world. It also charges with solar power, amazing. Their radio is fantastic. It's also good for camping. You will love it!

This is the second emergency radio I bought from Prunus.The first one was great without issues.Everything working great bands,bt,etc but the second one I received it used with missing parts.I did not return it because of the price $18 but I am disappointed with Prunus to sell something in this condition like new that was the reason I removed the five stars.This is the first time I review something from Amazon with one star.

I went though two of another brand, that had various issues keeping them from working correctly, all because there were more reviews. I thought it would be a safer choice. Two defective ones later, I came back for my second choice... Which obviously should've been my first! It works just as expected, with more features than I ever expected! I'll definitely be able to rely on this for power outages and more. It functions really well and will be reliable, which is the most important. Don't make it your plan B, start with this one!
