How to make it better
I used this bulk material to create a filter for my RV air conditioner.First off, the filter material is thin on purpose to allow the AC to be the most efficient it can be in terms of cooling but that means a couple things. One is that it will need to be replaced more often because it will wear out faster, and two it will not filter as much particulate as a thicker filter, but in turn your AC won't have to work as hard to cool your vehicle and it will likely cool factor. When energy efficiency is your primary concern, this filter material is king.To get it to work better you can put a few drops of essential oils on it and work it into the filter. If you work it around well you'll actually catch more particulate matter in the oil and it will filter better and it will be a little less efficient but not as much as a big thick filter, plus you'll get a nice smell in the cabin. Don't put too much or get a scent that is too strong because it will disperse throughout the RV. This will also help the filter from getting brittle and crumbly especially in high heat situations.A second tip you can try is to double up the filter if you feel it isn't filtering enough, but I stick with the 1/4 inch stuff and change it out more often.Hope this helped!

Cut to fit, great!
1000% best one to buy. Easy to cut and fit on whatever in the trailer. I am not trying to spend alot of time on a filter and I got this to make life easier and it's perfect. I still have a big chuck for next round and didn't need to guess the size or play around with returns. One and done.
