A Great Product When All Else Failed
Thank goodness this product seems to be doing the job of getting rid of Filamentous Algae. I've had a Garden Fish Pond for 30 years and never experienced algae like this before. Within a few weeks it spread all over the pond base at a thickness of around 150mm with huge lumps coming up to the surface during this years hot days. Using a pond vac helped but it seemed to grow just as fast. This Hydra ST703 came to the rescue and I can now report the pond is 95% clear. Will give a further dose later and currently using the pond vac on any sign of this algae.A Great Product and Many Thanks.

Better than Electronic weed controllers
This Pond Algae Control does work, with no ill effect to the fish.I have used it for several years now. At the beginning of this year I tried the I-Tronic electronic control weed controller, but all that did was increase the Filamentous Algae and killer several of my largest Koi carp (even at the lowest settings) and since then I have reverted back to using HYDRA ST703. The result was clear water and no dead fish.

For a new pond.
Added as described i know my ponds volume etc after 40 years but I double checked, I was correct so I wasted no time and used the product as instructed then waited more than 7 days just a cloudy mess and nothing, after the third time exactly the same I had to drain my pond 2rds refill and dechlorinate ect, my advice is do not buy this product it's a waist of your time and money . I spent time clearing out the worst of the blanket weed and went back to my I-tronic 75 and after a week the pond is almost clear, I try to keep my pond in tip top condition, every other year is a bad one, normally I clear up and use the I-tronic should have trusted my instincts of many years
