Worth the price. Nice display. Recommended - uninstall armory crate and install g-helper
After almost a year of usage, this is indeed a very good laptop for its price. The performance offered for this price range is great. CS 2 averages around 160 fps on medium settings. Fallout 4 averages around 80 fps on ultra setting (1080p) which I'd consider great performance. The armory crate app is downright the worst piece of software and I'd recommend to uninstall it completely and install g-helper, a much better and lightweight alternative. Installing g-helper fixed all of the issues of sluggish performance when the laptop is kept unplugged. I saw some reviews about sound level, but it's just a simple fix of tweaking with the dts audio sound panel and you're good to go. I never thought the volume was low since I discovered the dts audio panel. I'd recommend uninstalling the preinstalled windows and doing a fresh install of windows to remove all the bloatware. The backlit keyboard is highly customizable and looks great in the dark. They keyboard feels snappy and clicky which I prefer. The laptop is built pretty strong and sturdy and carries a nice weight to it, which could turn out to be undesired sometimes. The 17 inch screen gives you a bigger than usual workspace, which looks nice while playing games or doing some work, but it could look too big on your hands if you wanna carry it around a lot.The thermals are okay, since it begins to throttle above cpu temps of 85, but getting a decent cooling pad fixes that easily. Undervolting and disabling the CPU boost in g-helper can help you get lower temps without any loss of performance. The 165hz display is absolutely smooth and feels amazing to look at. The touchpad isn't the best but it still works good enough. There are enough ports around the side of the laptop to connect most of the essential peripherals if you're looking for that.If you're planning to keep it in a place as a work laptop, it's better to limit the maximum battery capacity to 80% since you'll need to charge it a lot and constant charging the battery to 100% could wear the battery out very soon. The only annoying thing about this laptop is the battery life, which lasts upto 1.5 to 1 hours in normal usage. But that is a given since its a gaming laptop.I'd say go for it if you're getting it at this price range. It's honestly the best at this price. Everything works and so far I've never experienced any lag in my software or games, after removing armory crate and installing g-helper.

Great Performance only red flag is the screen Color
Great Performance only red flag is the screen not for designing work color display on the screen is little bit diffrent than original color so it will be 3 star
