I was intrigued by this appliance because I consume a lot of eggs during the week, especially hard boiled ones. It is compact, and six eggs at a time is plenty for me. I followed the well-written directions and got perfect hard boiled eggs. You do have to poke a small hole in each egg per thr manual. I haven't yet used the appliance to make an omelette or poach eggs. But I love poached eggs, and that will be my next attempt. I definitely recommend this product.

I love the way this egg cooker looks (I got the green) and it is just as pictured. The first time I used it I accidentally cracked one of my eggs when piercing it with a hole so I put it in one of the trays. I was NOT going to throw it away considering how expensive eggs are today. But, this way I learned about the tray vs the egg holder. For hard boiled eggs this works great and took so little time. One note I will say about using the tray is that it cooks more than the eggs in the shell. Just something to keep in mind. I love this little thing and love how it doesn’t look ugly in my kitchen. The little parts and the cooker itself are easy to clean. Not loud at all and the toggle switch is great. I didn’t realize but it beeps when the eggs are done so be prepared for that because it startled me. The water cup is accurate. It takes no time at all to boil the water. Using its is very straightforward. If you want to spend little more for aesthetic purposes then yes buy this! If you don’t care about looks then i’d consider other options. You can get a good egg cooker for a cheaper price. It all comes down to what you’re looking for

Made my first batch today and it worked perfectly. No muss, no fuss, just perfectly cooked and delicious eggs. Good way to get more protein in my diet and to always have soft or hard boiled eggs on hand. I'm anxious to the omelette and poached egg feature next. Great little gadget and takes up NO room on your countertop.

Although there are other ways to use this item for cooking eggs, I use it exclusively for making hardboiled eggs. It does a fantastic job. Preparation and clean-up are a breeze. It would be wonderful to have a version of this item that could do 12 eggs at a time vs. 6, but it's quick and easy to do two batches of 6 eggs.I only experience cracked eggs or leaking egg white on rare occasions, usually due to a thin shell on an egg. I am usually using organic, free-range small farm eggs, so it's possible the shells may be thinner sometimes than with commercially produced eggs.

This compact appliance is genius. Hard boiled eggs are so easy to make. Will also make jammy eggs. We don't even rinse the eggs in cold water afterwards. We put them right in the refrigerator and there's no green ring on the yolk. Plus they peel easily. Doesn't take much room to store and is quiet to operate and beeps when done.
