I recently purchased this Max BT (Enhance Version) bidirectional scan tool for diagnose my cars. I think it is a fantastic scan tool for home DIYers who are familiar with cars but not are machinist. Its bidirectional function and other advanced functions and extra enhanced services should be absolutely scan tool for professionals and home DIYers. In my experience of using it, this scan tool is more responsive than the one I have had. It does quickly perform diagnostic scan and the diagnostic result is very accurate and even finds out the faults the other scan tool do not dig out (I confirm it by comparing my other 2 scanners). From this point, I think it is more powerful than others. Everyone knows the reason we need scanner to diagnose our car is keep car always in health by fixing all & potential faults before driving. If a scanner has no ability to scan out potential faults that the scanner is not so powerful. And Max BT (Enhance Version) does it. In addition, it is very easy to navigate, because its UI is designed very well and menus very easy to navigate. The most importance is the scan tool has many reset functions and 38 extra functions based on car brand, but it is a little pity for me my car is Toyota, if the extra service can work for Toyota that will be so good though in the daily maintenance these extra service may not most likely not used. Overall, I feel Max BT (Enhance Version) is an incredibly capable scan tool for a hobby DIYers, or a mechanics. I’m incredibly happy with it. I feel it worth every penny and then some!

The iCarsoft is a great choice for a DIY mechanic like me—it's affordable, and its numerous functions cover everything I need, making it worth the investment. It offers many maintenance services like oil resets and battery registration, and it provides detailed diagnostics. The live data graphing is really useful. However, one thing the seller doesn't advertise well is that it can add new car keys to your car. I have used the scanner to add a new car key for my family. WOW! Is this feature only known to me? I'd recommend the Max BT (Enhanced Version) to any technician, DIYer, or car flipper.

Yes, my volvo had a special problem after replacing the gear position component ,became not so accurate, but the other scanner did not have the functions to solve my problem until I got icarsorft enhanced scanner. I am very grateful. It has never failed to impress. it can do all OBD functions and reset functions, as well, it has a lot of calibration functions which is a great help for home mechanists just like me. I strongly recommend preparing such a device for your home. Plus, the lifetime free updates and hardware free repair are quite attractive. "

I hooked this scanner up to 3 different cars. A 98' BMW, a 16' Porsche, and a 2011 Mercedes. The scanner had very limited capabilities with the BMW. Nothing more than a normal scanner could do. On the Porsche, I had limited options to reset calibrations (it wouldn't even re calibrate a transfer box service). On the Mercedes, it wouldn't even scan the car at all. For $450, this should be able to do what it says it can. I returned this and got an Autel Maxicom for about the same price (on sale) and it did everything I needed it to do, and it worked well on those 3 cars. I wouldn't recommend this for the price.

This product worked on a 2017 Porsche Macan and 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. Cleared the service required notification on the Porsche and will work when the battery is replaced as it needs programming. Porsche charges from $800 - $1500 for basics services. This will definitely help save you money in a very short amount of time.

I have several different diagnostic tools, but none come close to this one. I have not encountered anything it will not check yet. My primary reason to buy was to scan the newer VWs, and it did very well. Wish I would have bought years ago as all my other OBD diagnostic tools now sit idle.

It’s perfect product, if you have time to install or check your car this is for you and doesn’t want to pay somebody but to my car it’s too complicated I decided that I’d rather pay somebody so I had to returned it. I got a headache for installing the battery, customer service is good! Responded well but person in charge is in vacation I waited 1 day or 2 days to get my battery match to the car and they teach me how to do it 5-6 hrs. I recommend this product! Even tho it’s not their fault that my car is complicated I will still give them 5 starts.
