Highly recommend
I had been looking for thermal printer for a while. I had been spending a fortune on ink for my printer and wanted to have a thermal printer to save money. It’s easy to link to your phone or laptop and prints easily. Great value for money and lots of money saved on buying ink for my printer.

Brilliant time saving tool for teachers
The media could not be loaded. This thermal printer has been a game-changer in reducing my teacher workload, allowing me to provide quality feedback to students quickly and easily. Its thermal printing means no ink is required, significantly cutting down on costs and eliminating the hassle of managing ink cartridges. The rolls of stickers are affordable, ensuring I can have a constant supply without breaking the bank. The high-quality printouts ensure professional and clear feedback and have enabled me to add Bitmoji to my feedback. Students find this very amusing and they are more engaged with the feedback helping students understand their progress better. The time saved by using this printer is substantial, transforming hours of work into minutes, thereby boosting my productivity and allowing more time for lesson planning and student engagement. I have recommended this thermal printer to many of my colleagues, and they have been equally amazed by the time savings and efficiency gains. This printer is an invaluable tool for any teacher looking to streamline their workflow and enhance the quality of their feedback.

Easy set up, super quick printing
I was put off buying one of these for ages due to reviews. I need not have worried, it was really simple to set up, downloaded the app, updated the driver and I was up and running, about 3 minutes overall. The labels are printed within a couple of seconds. The labels are clear to read and very professional looking.

Good for a Small Business, Mainly Useful for 4" x 6" Shipping Labels
I work for myself and do a lot of shipping all over the world. For international shipments, I print A4 documents on an A4 Laser Printer and put them in A5 Documents Enclosed Wallets, because I need to supply documents for customs, but for UK and smaller parcels, it makes sense to use a label printer, which is why I ordered this. The printer itself is pretty simple and under Windows 11 it installs automatically as a standard printer. I use it only for printing 4" x 6" shipping labels, these are standard, cheap, and readily available, and work with Royal Mail online services as well as many others.I don't use any specialist software because more complications are just more trouble, and I just want to print shipping labels. It works fine for this use case. I had some issues making sure the labels aligned correctly, but this is true of many of these types of label printers. I have not used it with my phone. The way I use it it's been fine, though I think it might be a little finicky if I tried swapping between different label types frequently, it's not as robust as a commercial-grade printer.I have a specialist printer I use for printing tapes and very small labels. Since I print a lot I need things to just work, so switching between dedicated printers is far more reliable than trying to use this one printer for multiple things, for a hobbyist the story might be different. It's not made clear exactly which labels it's compatible with, which would be helpful. I assume it works with standard Thermal Shipping 4x6 Inch/100 x 150 mm - Fanfold Labels, but have not yet needed more. For a small one or two-person business or a hobbyist, it's a good little printer, but for larger-scale printing that requires more robust reliable printing, you would need a commercial-grade printer.

Cannot get it to work
I have tried now for 3 days to get this printer to work. I use an iMac, upgraded to Sequoia. To install the drivers I had to circumnavigate the security settings, Apple says this is a security risk, but I reasoned that this was a legitimate product. It will print postage labels direct from the Royal Mail website, but I am unable to create or print an address label. The program opens, will only allow an 84 point character, each time I change it to 12 or 18, it reverts back to 84, not a problem really as you cannot write anything anyway. My patience has worn thin & the printer will be returned unless I can find a solution.UPDATE: After a lot of frustration, I can now print labels. I think the Sequoia update has upset the Labelife App. I changed the star rating to 3. Its still not a very intuitive App, but I will learn to use it.
